The Kyocera Brigadier on Verizon is rugged like many of Kyocera’s other devices, but it also packs a sapphire screen, which protects it from all but the most brutal of damage. Check out our torture test of the display here, and read our full hands-on at http://www.androidcentral.com/kyocera-brigadier-hands-first-impressions-and-sapphire-screen-test

Hit it with a Nokia
can't even drop it from waist height? .. who bends down to accidentally drop their phone from ankle height? .. biggest load of bullshit I've ever seen… the screen will shatter from above 3 feet 100% of the time, already proven by uBreakiFix
Dude, just buy a TPU case and a 4H screen protector!
Since all saphires in the universe belong to Apple they must launch another lawsuit against Kyocera to save their face. lol
LOL, This is the right video to watch if you wanna laugh specially the stupid scratch test that i wouldn't call it even a scratch test 😛
This is a very good phone way better than fucken iPhone…do that whit a iPhone just one time and is over!!!!
You should do a real drop and scratch test. You babied that phone..
Aw come on, that's better compared to a regular smartphone with gorilla glass screen. My phone got shattered screen from throwing it on a carpet!
Rate this to hell. Dropping it from a foot up, loser. This video should be flagged and destroyed under "waste of time".
or just do a review of the phone before you smash it
Do I have to bitch and cry or can anyone comment here?
Why drop it flat why not downstairs or hit the curb. Throw it a bit higher. Put a bit of sand in your pocket. That's more real

Cute video. Very rarely do we get to see a phone's screen getting pet with keys… :/
That drops test was far superior than his key scratch test lol.
1 ft. drop test
_ÂÂÂIs this supposed to be a 'fumbling around trying to pick up my phone' test?
Oh I'm gonna bend down lower so I can drop my phone.
WTF? I thought this was a drop test.
Man up and drop that bitch good! Weak ass drops don't mean shit!ÂÂÂ
You trow the phone from 2cm.ÂÂÂ
What a pitiful test. Come on guys
Ummm that's not a real drop test.
LOL i see you used your top of the line phone.
I feel the same about Verizon.
Nice demo though. impressive.
I cringe
Absolutely pathetic test.
Do a MKBHD style test, scratch the fuck out of it with knifes & sandpaper.
That was about a foot or so come on
Who has their phone 10 cm over ground? And keys have not done any harm in years!
How about a normal pocket, chest, head height drop test on to concrete?
I've seen people using hammers to test screen toughness, and most of the top tier phones could stand up for few hits, disappointing this was such a mild testing session…
why keep scratching the screen on things that won't scratch the screen? quartz is tougher than rocks and keys and asphalt, etc. You have to scratch the screen w/ stuff that is tougher than quartz (topaz, diamonds, and corundum all scratch quartz) do a post on the moh scale. it's far more relevant than this video.
Very nice!
