I just saw the iPhone 15 preview… Yea I think I'm going to stick with Pixels. More excitable, more features.
5:25 Typical Android fan boy, getting upset over things that aren’t even true. The iPhones don’t support Thunderbolt, so they don’t need a Thunderbolt cable, they just need a USB-C cable, and because of the way USB-C works you’ll need a slightly better cable for 10 Gbps speeds than you would for 480 Mbps speeds, which has nothing to do with Apple.
Great to see Android fans are still getting mad over literally non-existent issues in 2023.
Honestly i like my pixel 7 a lot and i will not be upgrading this year, but if the price leaks are correct i would honestly probably go for the new iphone over the pixel
Wouldn't Black Friday affects the prices?
Google is never known for good hardware, and people will always go for iPhone for it's branding, iMessage, etc.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can't see the pixel being that expensive, very much a Manchester united move would be this
If google hikes it prices that a darn shame cause if it was gonna be 899 for the larger 8 model this year I would’ve definitely switched, but this is just speculation. If anything I’ll just get my free iPhone with my carrier and pay the difference for the pro model
I don't really understand why everyone is saying that Google Tensors are weak this isn't true people look at the AnTuTu and Geekbench and say oh this processor is weak, but in real life if you look at tensor G1 and G3 specs you will realize that they are on bar with any flagship chip out there
If the google pixel pro 8 uses the snapdragon chip like 8gen2 that phone will be a beast of a phone
ðŸ˜â€Â🤦ðŸÂ»â€ÂÂ♂ï¸ÂÂ
Not true G3 specs are nick to nick with A17
If we compare these two it is a fact that google is late in this market..but may be in future ull get to see pixel 14 beating iphone 20.. thats a fact..
I miss the squeeze feature of the pixel 2 xl 😢 and i wish at a glance wasn't mandatory
I hope the price hike is not true
Nope Google cannot beat iPhones
doing a video comparing 2 phones that arent released might be the most ridiculous reach for clicks ive seen in a while
Please, next time talk a little bit slower. Or just use other talk head
There's no way Google add $200 to each of their phones, too big a hike
Google act like they don't have enough money to beat apple
Google need a more premium design
I am really hoping that Google will not bump up the pricetags that much. I would like to upgrade fom the 7 to the 8 Pro. But it would be a downer if the price would be go that high…
For that price Tensor 3 better be at least Snapdragon levels of performance
Damn that pixel looks hot! Imagine the matt black and glossy black G logo
Pixel 8 pro
Google could use one simple trick to quickly boost pixel sales – release bloody thing in more countries. It would really help pixel sales in my country it thing was actually available
Neither is a huge step above the previous iteration.
Pixel 8 pro for the tele lens, but the price? Hmm. That's a massive hike. It had better be hugely improved over the 7 pro, otherwise it's a no from me.
I'll never understand why iPhone fans are complaining about the price of the Pixel 8 while completely ignoring the price of the under-equipped iPhone 15. For example, Pixel 8 will come with a 120Hz refresh rate, iPhone 15 only has a 60Hz refresh rate. Pixel 8 will support USB-C 3.2 with a wired 10Gb/s data transfer rate, iPhone 15 has USB-C 2.0 with only a wired 480Mb/s data transfer rate (much slower). Pixel 8 will come with a 50 megapixel main camera sensor, iPhone 15 has a 48 megapixel main camera sensor. Pixel 8 will have the 5X crop-in zoom as the iPhone 15, but with a larger 50mp sensor to let in more light and increase image quality. Pixel 8 will support night-sight video, iPhone 15 says "What's nightsight video?" The thermometer on the Pixel 8 I'm assuming could be used to aid the camera in the nightsight video mode, but we'll have to wait and see. Pixel 8 will use Face Unlock AND an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, while iPhone 15 will only support FaceID unlock. Yet, Pixel 8 will cost no more than the iPhone 15 which starts at $799 US for the generic base model. All the upgraded equipment in the Pixel 8 and it will still be a better buy than the cheapest iPhone 15. How you like those "apples"?
Pixel has nothing to offer.
While even Apple has lowered its prices in Europe 🇪🇺, and that those of the S23s have also decreased over time, Google's are announced to riseðŸ¤â€Â
Iphone 14 pro has 2.4um 48mp sensor and iphone 15 has 2um so its not the same.
Then apple is putting usbc 2.0 on the 800$ model and 3.0 on the expensive model 😅 usb c has been out for 8yrs now RIP OFF 😂
24w charging in pixel 8 is a bummer
800 $ iPhone 15 with a 60Hz refresh rate is a joke its 200$ android phone's with 120Hz. Apple continues to rip yall off😂
knowing google, they will discontinue it.
Im using the pixel 6a ill wait for the 8 if its disappointing ill go for the 15
I think Pixel 8 may be a surprise. iPhone 15 Pro was easily predictable, and I hardly see anything innovative about it especially that Tim Cook Carbon Neutral ad.
Google had value on their side. If they do this price increase, I'm out due to Android depreciation in comparison to IPhone.
Underscreen fingerprint scanners are so so bad !
have a care for the planet and child labour. Hang on to your old phone or buy refurbished. There is nothing tpo see in these so called 'upgrades'
Sorry guys, I love my pixel 4a I dont want 1000$ phone but we need to admit Apple CPU is monster kill, IOS on iPhone is to much optimized nobody can compete they have earpods pro apple watch… They always win on day to day comparaison 😢
Phones have plateaued long ago. The phone you bought four years ago has basically the same features barring a few fancy gimmicks of new launches. Hold on to your phone, particularly if it is an iPhone, and buy a battery case if your battery has deteriorated.
That price hike, if true, will definitely slow Google down even more than it is already.
Google had a competitive advantage in pricing. Yes the iPhone is an engineering marvel and Apple charges accordingly. That said for all you get with the Pixel line there's good value there. That is unless they jack up the price. This year's I/O was to be perfectly honest a snoozefest of the first order. Nothing this year in 14 has been up front customer facing changes. Meanwhile Apple copied screen calling (in their own way) and Standby mode is a duh why didn't we think of that feature before kind of deal. Now from a day to day use Android and in particular the Pixel line have great features (call holding, voice tree screen promts). That said those are things that aren't thought of or known from the outset.
As much as I hate to say it, this might be a hard year for the Pixel 8 line. Let's hope the Pixel Watch 2 fares better this Year.
no body is talking of the battery size in the iphone which was supposed to increase and also the 8 gb ram , i hope i did not miss something……nice work….
Jeewgle doesn't have a snowball chance in hell
Excellent video, mate! I'm going back to an iPhone after using Androids since 2016. My last two Pixels (6 Pro, 7 Pro) have been disappointing, especially the screens and battery life. My last iPhone was the 7 Plus. I'll get the 15 Pro Max this time. Might as well go all-in with this purchase.
The need of only thunderbolt cable for data transfer is false. Any usb 3 cable is usable.
lol the render at 0:34 is so bad, you can see it clipping and the reflections glitching out.
Edit: haha another at 5:04, why are they using this shit footage? you would think google and apple could render stuff properly
Not until google commit to longer software support, not killing features that have been introduced just months or a year ago, tight integration of their services and devices, etc
