HTC U Ultra Review: Ultra Sized Phone With an Ultra Price

1. Business Opportunity in Ruvol

   I have invented a Board Game [still unpublished and not yet out in the market] that I believe is guaranteed to be as challenging and exciting as CHESS. I called it “RUVOL.”

   It is my hope that one day Ruvol may surpass chess as the “Number One Board Game in the World.”

   The weakness of chess is it always starts in fixed positions that the opening moves become “memorizable.” In fact, not a few have so mastered the moves that they can play against their opponents “blindfolded.” It is for this very reason that the great Bobby Fischer introduced his so-called “Fischer Random Chess,” where the starting position of the pieces is “randomized” to make the memorization of openings impracticable. Fortunately, it is also for this reason that I invented Ruvol where “every game” has been calculated to be a challenging one to play.

9. On a positive note I like it for people with big hands it's the right size not fussed on dust or smudges Lol hey at the end of the day I'm not trying to hack into the Pentagon ..

    How can i program the HOME BUTTON (Finger print scanner) of HTC U Ultra ?? i mean the finger print button is programmed to go Home screen with single tap/touch ! this is so bothering, some time while in other apps i accidentally put my finger or palm over the scanner and it goes to home screen… it happens soo often because of the enormous size of the device 🙁 at-least a Double tap on the fingerprint scanner to Home screen would help much !!! do you know any away to program that default setting to a double tap command ??

20. I have htx max dating 2015 but my huge problem is home key light is gone  and it seems ultra has the same problem outside in brite day light hard to see

22. i really hope next year they make a truly great phone. i like HTC, and want to stay with them, but this new phone isn't what i want. I'll stick with my HTC 10 and skip the HTC U.

32. I got mine at the beginning of March and I love it. The battery life is really good and I love how sense companion told me to charge my phone because it new I was going out.

    As for lack of 3.5mm jack, not a problem I can still listen to music and I have never needed to charge my phone and listen to music at the same time.

    Both cameras are exceptional in all conditions and I love the colour range that are available.

34. HTC seems to know how to screw up every year. They have a good track record of that.

35. I have not considered an HTC phone since I replaced my M8, which I keep as a backup. Since then, HTC has perfected the art of making phones that badly miss the mark. The U, unfortunately, continues that practice. At $750 one expects some flagship features (IP68, wireless charging, bleeding edge specs). The U might generate some excitement at $450; at $750 it elicits either a head shake or laughter. Truly sad.
