  1. I've had this phone for 2 years now and it's pretty good but it started lagging after about a year or a little more. So far every phone I've had only lasted me 2 years. And looks like I'm gonna have to replace my htc soon.

  2. Have it in 2017. Not that bad although android 7 would be good, sadly, it wont come.

  3. Used this phone for almost a year until I eventually broke the LED after dropping it again and again .. used it very roughly but I gotta say it has been a good phone in terms of gaming or watching videos ..had there been a better camera ..this phone could have been a fairy tale in the respective price range IMO
almost forgot .. battery does not remove because of its irremovable back cover .. which is pretty annoying

  4. my HTC Desire 820 phone planted by going on Facebook page
and then I pressed the volume down button + power my device turn off,
but the problem does not want to START, I can not even enter the bootloader.
the only thing I can see is when I connect my HTC Desire 820 phone with pc. LED lit red sign or another. is detected. a device called QHSUSB_BULK
when I plug in my charger HTC Desire phone 820 LED lit red or other sign
I tried everything to remove the baterai …. which is long press on power or power + volume down / up, or all at the same time more or less time to sort more than two minutes without results.

I ask your help to solve my problem.

Thank you in advance for your response to users!

    Regards,

  5. Well, I have bought a htc desire 820g plus 5 weeks ago, & used it very roughly in this 1 month period. The main frustrating thing tht I noticed is the FRONT CAMERA. Trust me, it sucks. It do has 8 MP resolution, bt quality is vry poor, specially in low light. I mean, u can't xpect a 8 MP based camera to shaken a lot & captured some blurred picture. & the second awful thing is, the battery overheats vry quickly. Whenever its multitasking or heavy intensive works, overheating has disappointed me every time. Aside that fact, other feature is pretty much good…

  6. This has a terrible battery life and it charges very slow. My old iPhone 4s had a much better battery life even though it had a tiny 1400 mAH battery

  7. I'm having a problem with my HTC desire 820 on how to connect to WiFi even though I turn the WiFi but still not connected , pleaaaase I need help

  8. LMFAO! did he say "resolution being spread over a 5.5 inch screen" ?
Time to learn what resolution is LOL!

  11. Pros: smooth scrolling, clear crisp speaker with good volume
Cons: poor battery life, slow charging, no option to assign individual sms tones to contacts, annoying typing sound, native tones sound like tin cans
Out of the phones I've owned, which is Galaxy s5, lg g3 and g4, iphone 6s – htc desire 820 is at the bottom of my list.
For best videos, clean interface and quality of tones, along with best front cam: iphone 6s
For selfies, ease of waking up from sleep: lg g3 and g4
Perhaps the most annoying part of htc 820 is the placement of the buttons and the ugly keyboard.
Overall, I regret buying it and should just stick to lg and iphone
