  4. Hey Jayce, I have the Samsung GS4 on Verizon and have not received KitKat yet. Based on the things I have heard about the SD card changes, I'm not sure if I want the update now. I read articles talking about how certain apps can now only read, not write data onto the card. I use my SD card for pictures and video (which I edit, view, and manage through the Samsung gallery app) and music synced through easy tunes sync, and listened to through rocket player. Am I affected by these changes?

  5. hey jayce

  6. Tony Romeo: at approx 00.48 of the clip, you'll see that Jace has provided us with a chart that outlines which version of Android you/we have.  Based on what you've indicated, then you're on Jelly Bean.  I'm also on JB except my version is 4.1.2.

  7. I have an S4, my first smart phone, and when I go to About Device it says have android version 4.3. There is no mention of these names like Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly bean, KItkat etc, what the hell are these??

  8. Why IOS is not better that Android? That's what people wanna know, more over,I can only ask here because its ANDROID AUTHORITY!!

  9. hey jayce this is your follower from India… I have the nexus 7 2012 which is updated to 4.4.2 but still I don't have art (which is supposed to be a major chunk of kitkat update) whereas custom roms have art for the same device… is google cutting on resources to provide updates to older devices…?
