The Samsung Galaxy S5 does not, sadly, come with wireless charging out of the box. But for just a few dollars, you can (unofficially) add some Qi charging. But along with that comes a big of a side effect — not the least is that you’re probably playing with your warranty with this one. Use at your own risk.

  1. My sister wanted to get this cuz her cable broke, I told her the water could get in. 2 days later she put it on her phone and she was happy until 1 month later, she tried to get her phone but she dropped a glass of water on it. Her phone died. I’d rather buy a new cable if I was her.

  2. I installed same wireless receiver 1000 ma on my Galaxy S5. When I using wireless charging my phone get very hot, also when phone charged 100% it never turn off automatic.

  3. Hello, I bought one like this, but does not want müködni the red led switches over to blue one on the bench when I put the telephone onto him but does not show the filling on the telephone and beállitás does not pour it there may be a problem ?

  4. Hi there I have a white fallacy s5 and was wondering where you got that blue back battery cover/door. I looked over at amazon and eBay but I don't know which one is good because I still want to use my phone in water and stuff. Pls help and throw me a link so I can buy a legitimate one ty. 🙂

  5. I use one very similar on my Note 3, it's even thinner than the one just shown. No bulge at all, works flawlessly and have had it for a few months. Love it.

  6. Wouldn't the bulge interfere with the rubber seals on the back cover to keep it water tight? Extra pressure could pop the seals open where water could get in.. 10 bucks could cost you a new device
