Honor 7X review: Best budget Android phone

9. Actually, you can easily upgrade to EMUI 8.0 from EMUI 5.0. I have a Huawei P9 Lite 2017, which came out way earlier than the 7X and after the upgrades it runs on EMUI 8.0 and Android 8.0 without any problems. So if this is the reason some of you worry about buying this phone, stay assured you can upgrade it after. 🙂

11. I've had 2 of these phones and they are good but the screens are ridiculously easy to crack. Both of mine cracked with just a slight knock.

20. The two things i DON'T like about my 7x is the headphone jack, I don't want it on here, secondly, i wish it was usb c, and app support, which goes for all Androids really.

I can't believe that on every review all of them say that micro usb is bad but don't say why (even if most people know) but if it were a really bad thing when 99% of the devices today still use it. I think it's because they keep on repeating something someone said or wrote on a first review and can't think anything else on its own.

30. In the budget phone universe, Xiaomi Mi A1 is a better purchase, not saying Honor 7X is bad…But Mi A1 is superior, is worth every penny, which is a statement I cannot say about my S8.

31. I can't decide wether to get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Plus or the Honor 7x yet, both cost pretty much the same here in Mexico.
    ¿Could someone give me some feedback regarding this devices?
