I’ve been using the Pixel 3a and 3a XL for the past month, and outside of one or two small areas, this has been a really faithful recreation of what I enjoyed so much about the regular Pixel 3 XL. In fact, depending on your priorities, there are a few good points for buying these instead of the more expensive Google phones.

  1. I have been looking for a good value on mid range phones and i believe I found it. This video helped me a lot to come up with my decision!

  2. I use the 3a XL as my backup to my S10+. I'm enjoying it very much. The camera is excellent and the 3700mamp battery gives me on average 7hrs SOT, not to shabby. I got it on Cyber Monday for 4oo.oo with tax. I highly recommend this phone. The 670processer performs very well and gets the job done!

  3. I bought pixel 3a after half an hour screen freeze does it happened to you guyz. I send it to store and i am getting a new one. I tried force shutdown too but it didnt fixed the problem.

  4. You mentioned the four gigs of RAM on the pixel 3 a but the regular pixel also has 4 gigs of RAM and a justification is that Google software makes up for anything else needed. So why is it an issue with this phone?

  5. I've had mine for a month too – Love the 3a! Traded in my Refurb iPhone SE 64gb (with bad audio jack and light leak from flash to camera), and got the quoted trade in credit to my card of $251, so this was a huge upgrade and a great deal for me. Also, I can use my MacBook charger with fast charging. The $100 Google Store credit is due around the end of June to make it a $48 +tax deal.

  6. I'm binging pixel 3a vids cause I'm waiting for mine in the post. XD so excited. First actually new phone ever! (usually I can only afford older models off ebay)

  7. Why not hold my breath for it to carry over? Its stupid to remove, and notch is removed because that was stupid too. Bring back useful features is a really good selling point for many many people

  8. If I were looking to switch to Android I would probably go with the Galaxy S10 simply because it has all the bells and whistles. However, these are great devices for the price.

  9. "One month review"? You barely gave the headline specs, man. Come on, what's the usability like? Navigating through daily tasks? Reliability? Real-life battery performance? Heck, anything about the actual user experience (even if it is measured against personal preference) would have been helpful, much more so in a "one month review".

  10. 399?!?! The 3a XL costs 699€ where I live. The only reason to buy this over the OnePlus 7 Pro is the promised software updates and the great camera

  11. It's a little unfortunate that the bezels kind of large by today's standards, but honestly at this price it's not a deal breaker.
