Josh and Lanh compare the Google Pixel 2’s front-facing camera against the best selfie shooters around, including the Galaxy Note 8, LG V30, OnePlus 5T and Honor View 10. So which phone handles photos and videos best from the front?

  1. Business Opportunity in Ruvol

I have invented a Board Game [still unpublished and not yet out in the market] that I believe is guaranteed to be as challenging and exciting as CHESS. I called it “RUVOL.”

It is my hope that one day Ruvol may surpass chess as the “Number One Board Game in the World.”

The weakness of chess is it always starts in fixed positions that the opening moves become “memorizable.” In fact, not a few have so mastered the moves that they can play against their opponents “blindfolded.” It is for this very reason that the great Bobby Fischer introduced his so-called “Fischer Random Chess,” where the starting position of the pieces is “randomized” to make the memorization of openings impracticable. Fortunately, it is also for this reason that I invented Ruvol where “every game” has been calculated to be a challenging one to play.

HOW IS RUVOL PLAYED and HOW YOU CAN MONETIZE IT?

I detailed everything in my YouTube video. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcqth0m3-R0

    BIG MONEY POTENTIAL IN RUVOL!

It is worthwhile to note that the people who play chess will be the same people who will play Ruvol. In my Google search, I learned there are around 800 million chess players in the world. Even just a small percentage of these 800 million is good enough to earn big money from Ruvol either as an ONLINE GAME BUSINESS or as a PHYSICAL PRODUCT DISTRIBUTOR.

    Thanks and God bless!

  2. I have Said this time and time again. The Note 8 has a portrait mode on the selfie Camera!
This has been such a huge topic of misinformation from all of these large "tech" channels. 'The Verge' Said the exact same thing a few months ago, but i expect misinformation for them, not you guys! Please, I understand this is such a petty thing to mention, but the fact that everyone has glossed over this great feature, or have been completely ignorant to it's existence is frustrating! The reason it's frustrating is because it doesn't allow for a fair comparison and knowing that this information is quite literally in front of your faces makes it worse.

And of course the Note 8s front facing camera with its 'Selective Focus' mode (portrait mode) has its flaws, like any other. But I consider it on par or better in some cases compared to the Pixel 2's front facing camera in regards to edge detection and captured detail, Also it has a 'Adjust background blur' Slider just like the back camera. Although, I personally do prefer the overall performance of the Pixel 2 front Camera. I, by no means consider myself a Samsung fanboy, as a matter of fact I much prefer other OEM android phones, but with the incorrect information/ lack there of, is continually being spread isn't doing anyone any favors.

For those who have a Note 8, to access the Selective Focus Mode, simply open the front facing camera, Swipe right and select 'Selective Focus' and shoot away! Keep in mind you'll need decent lighting to get the feature to work properly. It's that easy! You'd think people who dedicate their time to talk about this specific topic would complete their research. And like I mentioned, this spread of misinformation isn't exclusive to Android Authority, So i understand why they'd also be uninformed about this feature they're unaware of.

  3. I don't know how many times I've said this but the Note 8 HAS A SELFIE PORTRAIT MODE. CAN YOU PEOPLE LOOK IN THE DAMN SETTINGS LMAO! (It's called Selective Focus)

  4. Love these videos but one thing a lot of people forget that not 8 has Selective Focus on the front camera that dose a good job of fake bokeh.

  5. Note 8 does have portrait mode on the front facing camera…it’s called Selective Focus though

  6. I would like the see this video, but just can't stand content uploaded by you. You are negativity biased towards some brands, perhaps the ones not paying you.

  7. The comparison between View10 and Pixel2 at around the 3-minute mark is striking and doesn't do the "beauty mode" any favors. As a stand-alone image, I might have just put it down to lighting…

  8. I like that the front camera on the Pixel 2 resolves the pictures properly and not as a mirror image. I see so many phones that produce a mirror image, this makes no sense. Thank you Google for doing it correctly!

  9. Bruh why did y'all even include the V30? 😩😩😩 Damn you LG. If LG had the front camera of the Pixel 2 it'd be near perfect though.

  10. Samsung users, you HAVE to install the pixel 2 camera's apk (modded). The difference is incredible, like incredible. I had no idea the sensor was able to capture this much detail and every single shot is just miles better. Especially the HDR+ makes a world of difference and is so much better at capturing the true colour of a sunset (which Samsung's stock camera just can't do in auto mode). Portrait mode also blows away selective focus. I can provide pictures on command

  11. V30 hands down.
    1. Wider lens i can capture where i am not just my big head
    2. Who wants so much detail on your face. I didn't want people looking at ever looking nook cranny on my face.
    3. It's much brighter image. Lower your brightness down more and more and you will see what I'm talking about.
    4. Way better mics if you want to Vlog
    5. Better manual mode
    6. Better video editing software out of the box
    9. 18:9 selfies
