  1. Wait a minute. So my s7 edge won't be able to get daydream? I would have to upgrade to an even later phone for that… Like the note 6? Or would it be available via updates?

  2. I'm looking forward to Allo, if I can convince my friends im gonna switch from whatsapp to Allo. For one I dont like Facebook as a company, and second I think Allo has much better features. I like that they made Duo seperate because not everyone needs video calling so you don't have to waste storage on it

  3. cant wait to get my hands on a huawei p9 plus when recontracting soon… my gawd.. other countries already get their android 6.0 on their lg g3 devices but ours took years…literally.

  4. didn't hear anything about the successor to the nexus 6p and I thought the android wear 2.0 update was kinda disappointing. not much improvement to wearable. not much incentive to wear one again too

  5. Why such a negative round up? I personally like that the messaging and video apps are separate… less bloat in an app. Good keynote. No mention about android pay being launched here in the UK yesterday though.

  6. what google needs to do is create a messaging app that'll be the core of All Android (HTC, Samsung, LG, and etc) that'll let oem make it their own but will work like iMessage but ALL Android phones.

EX. if I message a group of 4 that have 4 different Android phones, we should be able to create a group chat like KIK, I message, and like Google Hangout.

that'll eliminate every app that Android users have to use. and just focus on the messaging app that really matters, the one that comes when you first boot up your Android phone.

that would define the Android slogan "Be together, Not the same."

  7. yea, why not just update hangouts with all and duo. it's too many different apps now. Just integrate all 3 into one awesome app.

  8. I don't really like their attitude with this video, I always love this channel but this kinda made this keynote dull and unimportant when in my opinion I think it is very important and cool.

  9. Actually there were some huge announcements. Either you don't understand the gravity of bringing machine learning to solve a lot of problems and opening it up to developers to use. or you just too used to 'life changing' announcements. The updates for developers and the analytics announced was also huge. you left it all out for personal opinions.

  10. It's funny the way the way you say allo 😉😂 it's old British Police slang for saying hello

  11. when is Google going to effing take control of the update process. FRAGMENTATION!!!!!! I had seen that they were going to separate the UK and core is so that they could update phones without waiting on carrier and OEM crapware. also maybe a Nexus with sd card slot. they have adoptable storage so they better have an sd card slot on next Nexus

  12. I wish Allo & Duo were more integrated into the os instead of being stand alone apps… Its going to be a challenge trying to get people to use the apps

  13. Oh Lahn… you and your politician style commentary combined with your stupid stamp worn around your neck makes for a very broad intelligence appeal across the Android Authority team seen in this video.
