  1. gogo is a first step that will fail miserably: 1. Only operates in or near the area of the USA (this is what I've observed when flying from denmark to Toronto on an Air Canada 787, in august 2015) 2. You have to pay. (self-explanatory)

  2. And of course they'll charge an arm and a leg to use it. So I'll still be taking my SD card filled with offline entertainment with me.

  3. That's actually pretty nice. I've been on a couple of flights where the WiFi speeds are just horrible but this would definitely be a game changer. Now of course there's the costs involved and wondering what an in-flight plan would be just to be able to have these types of speeds.
