In less than a year, Samsung is already on its second generation of foldables. The Galaxy Z Flip is a vertically folding clamshell phone with a gorgeous design and the first folding glass display. But is it worth the $1380 price tag?

  1. Wow, you're nitpicking the shit out of this phone.

You people really need to just chill and enjoy the tech for what it is.

It's a first gen first of its kind device, give the damn thing a chance.

  2. According to JerryRigEverything, Samsung made so many Android reviewers look like complete and utter fools. Especially the ones that said they could feel the clear difference of the plastic display on the Fold compared to the ultra-thin glass display that’s also just plastic. 😆🤣 https://youtu.be/bbAkY-Www40

  3. So by watching this I guess the Galaxy Fold was never released after issues were addressed. And it hasn’t been widely used without issue since. Oh wait, it did. Nice complete reporting there. Pathetic.

  4. No, I wasn't excited about the fold. It was cool tech, but pointless. The Z Flip is different. Still not good enough however. Still a ways to go.

  5. The "foldable glass" is bullshit marketing.
As JerryRigEverything demonstrated in his latest video, it's actually just plastic and is definitely not as tough as real glass.

  6. go check JerryRigEverything channel and see what "foldable glass" it is 🙂 there is no such thing as foldable glass, c'mon

  7. Beware the screen is NOT glass, JerryRigEverything scratched it with his fingernail and it scratched at level 2, not level 6 as glass would do. Don't be fooled. See his video.

  8. I guess you guys are aware of the fact that the so called "glass screen" is actually made of plastic and not real glass? Right? You're just doing your job fallowing Samsung's "reviewers guide"… Apart from that…"excellent" video :))))))

  9. Samsung foldable glass still looks better than the screen on IPhone 11 max pro🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂…..

  10. "it fold vertically and its a better deal for everybody" hmm no, not even close. For me that phone defeats the whole point of a foldable device (ie: to have a bigger screen that still fits in your pocket). It's a beautiful device don't get me wrong but I much, much rather have a Huawei Mate X or a Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 with a proper front screen.

  11. I'd rather have the slight gap at the Flip's hinge than feel protrusions from beneath the Razr's. The Razr's screen pulls so far from the main body that you could drop a toothpick through the gap. I'll take Samsung's current iteration over Motorola's any day.

  12. Nice to see Samsung trying but it offers nothing. The only difference is it opens to the size of a normal phone. Nothing more nothing less and in today’s world why do we need that. As for the price 🤔😂

  13. i though the whole benefit of foldables over normal smartphones were that it was as big as a mini tablet when unfolded? so whats the point of this foldable? its as small as a normal galaxy

  14. z플립 진짜 갖고 싶다

  15. Isn't the point of foldable to have a smaller usable screen, where you do 60% of the daily tasks and for multimedia you have a much bigger screen to consume? What's the point of the fold here? Just to show it can fold?
