Just when I thought I might be going back to iPhone with the new 16, or Samsung s24 Ultra, I see these pixel 9 xl and watch 3 xl videos and I'm thinking I might just be around for a second generation of pixel. I love the pixel buds, and I love the pixel 8 pro. My only gripe with the 8 pro is the battery life. sucks @$$. I will wait for reviews on the battery life and that will likely be a deciding factor. If they fix this, I definitely love the clean, smooth experience of the clean android OS running on the pixel.
And with Google AI and me having the google home devices, smart bulbs etc, I would love to stick with the more cleaner google/android based experience. And I will likely just grab an iPad to scratch my iOS itch. I've always been a multi-platform person. I have macbook air, windows desktop, Nubia Red 9 gaming phone, and Pixel 8 pro.
I love my PW2 and wouldn't want it any bigger but smaller bezels would be good.
It works seamlessly with my P8P so I'm not going to be upgrading yet.

I had the PW 1 then got a new PW2 with my Pixel 8 Pro phone. This watch looks great and I might consider it.

Longer battery life much longer like a week at least
I really hope it has wireless charging. Just wont buy something with proprietary charger anymore. Someone pointed out to me how inefficient wireless charging is, and that is correct, however I really can't stand small devices all with different chargers anymore. If they feel they need a proprietary port to charge the device faster at least make wireless a second option. USBC or Wireless seems to be the industry standard now. Heres hoping they adopt it

Anyone holdouts wanting a bigger model, the PW3XL is a no-brainer especially with that bigger battery, it should be a near 2 day lasting watch if not a bit more. I don't mind dropping it on the charger after coming home from work as I do my FB Sense 2 now even though I can easily stretch it to close to a week without charging. Wish they had shrunk the bezels even further but with the dome face design, the direct view should look better with a slightly smaller bezel.
Definitely upgrading from my Galaxy watch 4. Pixel watch has been the prettiest smartwatch for some time now.
