anyone figured out the unlocking problem cos i really want this but have atnt
i just like att cuz of gsm sim cards r way better and att is improving faster currently no joke
so it wont work at all with att
Why would you want AT&T on the Droid Pro? AT&T is the worst of the four major U.S. Networks (some would even consider some minor/non-contract carries better). Plus, it rivals Verizon so if you wanted AT&T for some strange reason, it woold probably only work on Sprint's version, the Motorola XPRT.
did you call verison or at&t to get the code?
The carriers are putting all these new advanced locking mechanisms now arggg. they do the same thing for the HTC touch pro 2 on U.S. cellular but the same phone from another carrier will unlock. Apparently the easiest way to do is change the firmware ROM and a bunch of other stuff. Supposedly is the CID lock or Carrier IDENTITY ? Thanks for the great video!
What company you recommend for unlock codes for Droid Pro on overseas bands? I dont want to waste money and find out the code doesnt work. Thanks!
It looks like Verizon is turning into Apple (locking down shitty and being assholes)
Verizon sucks in so many ways, this is one fine example.
I wonder if we Canadians could do something with this phone … buy it and use it on a Canadian carrier?
