  1. ASUS definitely deserves the award. Performance and hardware isnt everything; they should also consider the user experience, price point and build quality. Considering the price of the ZenFone line, it really is a steal, considering ASUS' good reputation on making great hardware.

  2. I agree with their assessment on the award winner being Asus. Not because the phone is better than the Z1, but being more affordable and available to more consumers is a great feat. Anyone can give outstanding phone without being concerned about over pricing them, but Asus is giving the masses a pretty darn good phone for the price. In auto terms; 1960's VW Beetle; 1970's Toyota Corolla.
