To me, the reason that Apple bought beats because they wanna be the top of everything. So, while the public reaction of their earpods isn't good enough or even cannot lift their earphones product to the top range like beats, they must consider about the human mindset. So, while android devices extremly raise up with many features especially Htc with beats, it could be a huge challenge for Apple. Anyhow, I personally think it's a good decision investing in this and I am clear that apple could sell it out next years with a more-than-double price.
I think they bought beats, because that way they'll widen their range of product, thus increasing their range of costumers and income. Also, by having different kinds of products, they'll increase their chance of having more profit. They also have an advantage over other tech companies this way.

Because beats and apple has a good bond between them and also it is a authentic brand like the Mac. The most important point is that they wanna make more money
Apple probably bought Beats because they saw the growing demand of their products as a fashion accessory and they had quiet a lot of  cash to burn….simply a move to earn more money!

The real question is why wouodnt apple buy beats? A pair of headphones every athlete, musician, etc. has why wouldnt you buy it. Apple already making billions of ipads iphones and macs ,Beats just makes the deal sweeter. I would love to see a pair of beats buds to come with apple products. MARKETING IS KEY HERE.

Maybe apple wants all high-quality products to match the price of the product, and may also be said that his company is not expensive but ugly, because it's all apple products but the price is very expensive and its features are still lacking such speakers is minimal, it's just my opinion neighbor why apple buy beats with such an expensive price.

Apple bought beats because more than 40 percent of American teenagers use beats. And if they implement Beats Audio into their iPhone like HTC did they are going to make more money…
