  1. Android P sucks. The bezels are too small on the Pixel 2 XL, and the back button has a huge trigger area, so I can't type without touching the back button a million times.

  2. I have uploaded the DP$ on my Nokia 7 Plus .. I am trying to remove the google search bar but no action seem to happen. This is the 1st beta I have downloaded on my device. Also I see the battery drain is quite fast. Any fix for the google search bar?

  3. That's probably the first time I would pick something like MIUI 10, or Oxygen OS over stock Andorid. Andorid P looks like a cheap iOS rip-off. Of course, the fast performance and updates are the major pros here, but the look and feel to it is just cheap. Check out MIUI 10 on Xiaomi flagships, the interface looks modern. Yes, the animations are copied from the iPhone X, but in a great way. Android needs a major re-design to compete with the new iPhones.

  4. To all the crybabies who don't like this-or-that; How about a suggestion on what would be better? Or at least how to improve it?
    You people sound like toddlers.

  5. I still prefer the traditional nav buttons. I keep trying the gesture based bar but it's just not as fast and intuitive as the traditional navbar. And the fact is I can already use apps to hide the navbar, and use gestures and have done so off and on with my android devices since 2012. I've even used them on my 2XL but I always end up going back to the good ole tried and true 3 button navbar.

I also find the new recent apps to be a step backwards from the old one. I've used Android P for over 2 months now as my DD on my 2XL and overall I like it but there is a lot of refining to do. They really have seemed to change some things just for the sake of change rather than for the sake of making the OS better.

I agree with you the dark theme needs work. I personally only use the dark theme and have always used solid black wallpapers on my devices for many years so I hope eventually we get a more system wide dark theme. I like the slight transparency of the dark theme in Oreo so I hope they do they same in P.

  6. The notification shade (quick settings) is sooooooooo ugly & why have gestures if the screen real estate isn't improved ? Why not just add pie controls like lmt launcher ?? Ugh

  7. They gotta get rid of the back button and make it a swipe left with the pill, it would make it sooooooo much better as it would be a true gesture based UI instead of the half baked thing they have going now.
