Another year of minor, incremental changes.
0:58 Performance Improvement overview
1:17 Android Dynamic Performance Framework
1:32 CPU & GPU Access
2:07 Camera hardware access
3:06 Privacy overview
3:14 Partial Screen Sharing
3:54 Health Connect Service privacy
4:30 More features to come in future updates
I hope they add the ability to check battery health percentage as the phone ages.
They need to work on better optimisation and battery. The interface looks clean already
2:52 So the direct access to cameras is basically this and not actually what we want.
Why do iOS & Android need to update itself every year with incremental small changes? Why not go the Windows way? A major release every few years.
They should change the exposure slider in the camera app its so annoying that its in a separate section
Need a volume slider in the control center
Android update will never be the same without Joe Hindy.
The Android system lags behind in game performance. Everyone buys the iPhone because of the smoothness and high performance of the games
I have stopped upgrading my phone
Google introducing features in a15 what modders already achieved in a12 on most roms
Good
What game are you playing at 1:07 ?
Damn there is a new android 15? I have been stuck with 12
Android was built on widgets and I wish there were both Lock Screen widgets and maybe even a Lock Screen swipe right widget drawer similar to Apple iOS
Meanwhile, I'm still using android 8 (oreo) phone 😮
With Android 14 they also said like apple they will allow selected photos permission, but I didn't see that on 14.
They cant even get 14 to run right
Thanks google
Like if you have a pixel series! 🎉
Is google always afraid that apple will release the next version of android before they do ?
where's Joe Hindy? he's been the main introducer of newer versions of android for AA like in forever…. it just felt weird…
But can't Google's inbuilt AI do the battery optimisation itself, what's the point user settings that manually !!😂
Well here's hoping they fixed adaptive brightness….the thing that has never worked properly.
Third party apps still can't access multiple lenses in Android, and that still seems not addressed. What a bummer
Here I'm struggling on porting Android 13 custom ROM on my Samsung device & Android 15's already here…😢
Every year with each new version of Android, Google claims to bring "performance, privacy, etc" but the truth is that every year it's always the same. same performance and privacy always fails.
We shold see lock screen widgets.
They need to allow us to access data files, recently an app I use to track my game's progress that I play can't put a file in its data folder to do it because Android's file system is preventing that because of privacy
Still not gotten Android 14
They need to get rid of the white space where the gesture bar is
i dont even i 14 still
Who else are still in Android 10?😂
These updates are a bit crap
What challenges have you faced at work and how do you deal with them?ðŸÂ±
