  1. less wires at what cost? you must be knowing, internet is best done via use of wires crossing the atlantic ocean…. wireless is slower and injurious to us! WIFI we all love, but does have effects, a virus was found which can make a normal router to become a more radiation hazard! WELL THIS TECHNOLOGY IN THE VIDEO, I LIKE THIS TECH AS IN THE VIDEO HERE ABOVE… but just telling, do proper observation rather than going all kiddish in love of technology. observe properly, unbiased…. THIS CHARGING TECH IS GREAT. just telling for other, myth="wireless is always better"

  2. Sounds like they are trying to bolster their portfolio because they know Motorola / LG / Nokia are already shipping QI enabled products for awhile.

I doubt the two standards will combine PMA & A4WP and become sucessful as QI is already established and early adopters already have bought into QI and accessories, why would someone buy a new device that uses the other "standard" and then throw out all their Tech ???

Its stupid really why can't they all band together with QI standard now and concentrate on improving that rather than fight with brand name dropping, its stupid.

QI came to market first, now they show up late to the party showing off big names in a "My dad could beat your dad up way", they just look like the guy who stole the idea but could not quite figure it out.

The only advantages I can see being gained in Wireless is Faster charging and better range but inductive charging causes heat ( likely to help over heat devices at higher outputs ) and why do you need to Wireless charge fast ? I use my QI chargers when im in the car or asleep.

If i want to fast charge a device i'll use a high output Wall adapter with the device switched off :

     A. its like 10 quid for a 3 or 4 amp charger
     B. Its smaller and more compact.
     C. You don't need to make sure you have the correct Voltage or Ampage to make sure the charger works !

  3. Darcey, you're cool, definitely let the interviewee know that you hear him but for me it's easier on the ears if you're not making the confirmating sounds (uhuh, yeah, ok, cool, etc.) as much. It's some minor feedback, not a big deal. Thanks for the interview!

  4. Okay this is a crazy idea that will most likely be never possible… but what if you could have this device that when you walked into a room, the phone would charge. Okay… so wireless charging is always with contact, but how about a wireless charging thing… that's just by walking into a room (kinda like how WiFi works). The idea is somewhat dangerous (come on…energy that's just in a room, people could get electrocuted with the air xD), and schetchy. I'm pretty sure it's been thought before, but just wanted to put it out there. 😛
