Alcatel OneTouch has brought a new 4G LTE Wifi stick to IFA 2015, giving us new options for bringing Wifi signals to inside our automobiles. It gives you fast internet from inside your car, connecting up to 15 users. 100% compatible with all car models, just plug it in to the car’s cigarette lighter. There is Micro SD slot, as well as a power on/off button. Size wise it’s quite small, and supports Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHZ as well as LTE up to 150 mbps. There is a dedicate app compatible with both Android and IOS which allows you to control and update the 4G car Wi-fi remotely. Available in Europe starting in October of 2015, do you think this a device you’ll be keeping an eye out for?

I leave one every time I be in the car with my auntie if we go somewhere I can't get no Wi-Fi on my phone
do you need a data plan for this….?
Is this available in the uk
where in Ontario can you buy this
how can i get this, and its unlocked allready?
yes i need to play Pokemon go on the go.
Does the car need to be on
gr8 device to come…………
I need usb tethering to use with my android head unit
I can see this being useful to keep kids entertained on their WiFi only tablets, or iPods. As the adult who is driving the car though I can't think of a single scenario where I would use it.
if it connects to satellite and not towers then yes it is useful if not then whats different from just my phone.
I need soothing to put in my camper that will run a WiFi network without (usually) any service. is this possible?
Why exactly will someone buy this? A USB based WiFi hotspot is a better purchase since most cars come with a usb port (adapters are also pretty cheap) and the device can be used outside the car as well.
Its about speed! Tethering is slow. Fine for emails, and stuff. But what about online gaming, LoL, Dota 2, HOTS, Starcraft, etc. Curious about the data prices of course.
So what's the data cap for one of these? Is it possible to get one with unlimited data? Also why not just get a car charger for your phone and then use your phone as a hotspot?
