  1. Stop right there, he's not from Liberia, he's from south Louisiana. We are the only ones that talk like DIS and Dat. Who Dat says they gonna beat DEM saints, who DAT? I think I uncovered the scam brother.

  2. I don't know if you will read this comment, but I am from the UK and I have been binge watching your videos all night until early hours. I have especially been following this story and I have never given money to a charity, apart from odd change in charity boxes, because I know big chunks of it go to the organisers, especially the person who runs that charity. However, this story has really inspired me and although I am poor myself as i am unemployed for health reasons, i would like to send some money to Joel or the children, could you please let me know how I can do this. I would like to send it personally and donate a few pounds every month. I know it's not much, but every little helps. I have seen many other videos about these 3rd world countries and charities asking for money and help, but for some reason, this is one that has really caught my attention. If I don't get a reply, I will try to find out how I can send Joel or the children money, as I will know exactly where the money I donate will go. I have never believed in giving money to charity, not because I don't want to, but because I would never see where or how that money was spent, the only thing I would know, is that most of it would go into the organisers pockets and I don't agree with that at all. I have seen the main people of many charities and they all have nice cars and big houses, even though running the charity is their only job. How can they justify that? I wouldn't mind if they were only taking just enough to get by and live on, but they don't. Most are very well off and I think many are taking way more money than they should. Thank you for inspiring story and videos.

  3. Why don't you and Joel start a second-hand clothes sale in Liberia? He can manage the business and you can be exporting the clothes to him. Think about it. At some point, maybe a car yard.. Who knows? He's a genuine man who needs an op to run away fro poverty

  4. I don't get why this hasn't been more popular… someone actually doing good for others, but this video has only 100,000 views… I don't get it…

  5. I hope you're not actually going to 360% interest per annum for Liberian small business start-ups. Charging 15 dollars in interest on 50 dollars in just one month Is 360% interest per year.
Ideally, you'd determine the interest based on the risk of not getting paid back, and that risk just increases if you're charging extortionary interests.

  6. Pleasany green I'm very confident that you are a person to trust because you trust people quickly. I'm a big fan of your channel please keep on uploading videos I will always watch and like it.

  7. sad that this was a year ago, so you wont need my money^^

(I wouldnt buy something anyway because I'm atheist and dont want a shirt, where something about god is written on it^^)

  8. Wait, is charging 30% interest even legal in Liberia? This seems like a terrible idea. $50 is not a small amount of money in Liberia; these are real loans. I hope you return the interest payments to the debtors.

  9. From a guy and a 30 buck camera, to a business that is lifting a young photographer from crippling debt and poverty, and helping children in liberia….

Truly, God's work, to connect Joal with Ben, to make Ben give Joel a chance… to make it all take off..
