  1. I dont know about the federal law you showed, but ive heard of a couple that the law only applied to US to US transactions. International transactions were excluded. So Im not so sure you actually broke that law. I know nothing about it. So i guess its possible.

  2. I get these emails ALLLLL the time. I tell them if they want me to review their products they can send me a free one and I'll give them an honest review, which might be a 1 star if the product sucks. They never respond

  3. Something was making me root for these guys being (kind of?) honest, hoping they'd really send you your money back. What they're doing is illegal, but you actually got the lights, which work – and your money back. Compared to the scammers you usually deal with these guys look like saints.

  4. I started doing these reviews back in 2013 – 2014 and got a bunch of random items and resold them. I started really early on when it all started, sadly over time things changed and a lot of scammers entered in. I can explain how and why everything works and how scammers are using amazon review groups to scam.

  5. They are not techincally paying you to write a five star review. they are giving you a product for free for a five star review. There is a difference.

  6. This is why i typically ignore all the 5star reviews and look at the 1-2 star reviews when looking for something i don't know whats good or not

  7. I did liked this video. It wa easy to watch, it gave a good vive to my day and for the price of watching ads along with this video its a great value.
And I have to add, this is not a paid review for this video

  8. Old video but I always try to buy things that are sold and shipped from an Amazon facility seem to always get the product and it’s as described and works perfectly

  9. I've done this in the past. I know it's not an ethical way of leaving a review, but I don't really feel that bad because the item I got is actually pretty good quality. So I know they next person who buys it will not be disappointed.

  10. I’ve done these through a company called vacplus or sumn, because I bought a car vac from them. I got a bunch of free stuff from them as long as I uploaded a review and I always got money in my PayPal account. Anyways after reviewing a bunch of their stuff they asked me to review some humidifier and I said no because I need a dehumidifier, so they said they would contact me if there was anything else for me. It’s been 6 months and they haven’t gotten an email from them 😭.

Vacplus if you seeing this pls contact me 🥺

  11. I have been a paid amazon india reviewer for 4 years. And also now since 4 months have a huge group as a mediator having 8+ sellers who need 50 reviews on many of their products

  12. I need some of these lights for my dartboard light surround lol but I won’t be ordering from here 😂 just incase lol

  13. As an amazon seller myself, I once gave a free product to the first person that gave me a good review. I didnt ask him to give the review and he fully expected to pay full price. It was a Thank You for a product that I invented myself and manufactured and brought to market. It was my very first review and I got 5 stars. It made me proud of the work I did. So thank you. Reviews are everything and bad reviews will sink the ship. I can understand why it would seem worth it to for a company to pay for good reviews if they cant get them legitimately. You were very likely dealing with a legit import company with some shady ethics but in their defense, Its a dog eat dog world and sometimes you gotta show your teeth. Also fyi, If you clicked the link he sent you it wouldnt be considered a verified purchase and therefore the review wouldn't be accepted. You could have written anything about anything and amazon would approve it as long as its a verified purchase. AND— I also have those same lights. 5 stars. AND.. love your channel, Keep up the good work.

  14. Honestly, I pay no attention to product reviews on Amazon any more. I bought an item, and with it was a note saying to leave a 5-star rating, include a special word, and they'll refund my purchase, plus give me a coupon for something else they sold. The item turned out to be junk, but it got me thinking how many people lied about the product? After that, I don't bother with reviews. In fact, I don't typically trust reviews in general. Google will remove reviews at the business owners request, restaurants bribe you to do their surveys and leave positive feedback, etc. The ratings are meaningless these days.

  15. I joined amazon when they first started(mid 90's). Never bought anything, and over the years forgot I had joined. March 2021, I called to ask a question, never gave them my name or any info. The guy says, you have to add a payment method to your account; I'll hold on while you do that. I'm thinking, wait what? Back when I joined I was married and had a different name & phone #, and lived in a different state, how'd he know? I told him I'll do that later, and I hung up and deleted my account. His response screamed SCAMMER! I won't ever do business with them!
    Like the lights. New sub

  16. The key to recognise phoney reviews is the average rating. Here’s the rating to look for — 4.4 to 4.8.

  17. you got it wrong! when they have a product with 5 stars they change the product for a different one a crappy one and make loads of profit go back to this same order and try to buy again chances are is a completely different product.

  18. he doesnt send you a link because if amazon find out that theres a lot of people who buy a product with a link and do good reviews, they will ban you and the product
