  1. Wait… If trump went on 10 Contempts of Ct., with no consequence, wouldnt be now: 30daysx10 C.Ct.=300days jail time, at least?

  2. Only 2 years would be a miscarriage of justice. I thought each of the 34 charges could get 4 years. Two years could get him 136 years. Only serving 2 years would be a sentence of .0147% of 136 years. I think a sentence of 10% or 13.6 years, while not nearly enough, would satisfy most of us as a reasonable sentence, taking into account his contemptuous behavior before, during and after the trial. His access to phones and digital media should be the same as any other convicted felon, infrequent and monitored.

  3. 2 years isn’t even one month per count not counting the contempt of the judges orders and the sarcastic, terrorist threats against his own daughter give me a break two years my ass

  4. a convicted felon running for president. I'll bet each of the founding fathers are flipping and and going nuts with this madness. Certainly this is not the country they dreamt of. And believe me, there's nothing funny about all this, quite the opposite, it's alarming.

  5. Oh wow, you actually believe he'll get a jail sentence ! ? I'm shocked, but happy. I don't see it, but attempting to steal the election charges, for sure !

  6. They, apparently, didn't have much of a conversation if it took less than 30 minutes. Why did the judge allow Trump's lawyer be present, other criminals don't get to have their lawyers with them?

  7. If DT is sentenced to house confinement rather than to Rikers, will he be confined to his Trump Tower home? I would hate to see him be able to get out of going to Rikers.

  8. The interview should be IN PERSON. The PO needs to assess his demeanor, witness a urine sample and do an eye to eye interview, without the babysitter lawyer. Again, the rich get privilege

  9. I don’t think that judge has any morals or values. There is one coming for all of them that is judge over the judges. Not much longer as he put it when they start to run it will be straight into him. I love it got my popcorn ready not many people could take this kind of treatment and keep going. The shit show is coming to an end. You don’t mess with one anointed and walk away from it unscathed

  10. This is not right they said no one is above the law it is a lie why you treat an animal who is Donald J Trump in this world he is only like others regardless he was abfrayd president yesterday it doesnt supposed tobe treated like a vip what the hell Michael Cohen suffered in prison and this animal Trump only probation? What the hell

  11. Dear Ben and others,

I hugely admire your network and all the work that you do in informing and educating your viewers. Thank you so much for this!

But… prison time for a bookkeeping offense seems way to harsh, even it has been committed by a presedential candidate, to distract the publics attention from his questionable personal conduct.
Even in the light of Michael Cohen suffering years of imprisonment for felonies that were far less grave.
One (terrible) act of injustice doesn't justify another one.

    Truly yours,
    Jens

  12. This whole process is bullshit. Just put the guy in jail. The American injustice system is so absolutely asinine that the judge is a coward. He is never going to put your king into prison. You Americans you all are too much.

  13. Trump should get the maximum sentence. To show his vulnerable followers that justice is fair, Judge Juan Merchan should allowed Trump to continue his campaign with the parole restrictions and send him to jail to finish his sentence after the elections. Trump is not above the law. To not sentence Trump to jail, is a slap on those who are in jail for way less than Trump’s crimes.
