12. We def should add Justices, we should double the size of the court, and if a GOP president adds more, that's all to the good. When the number of Justices was increased to nine there were 30 Million ppl in the US, now there are 300 million.

    Not only did McConnell & the GOP Senate refuse to have hearings on Merrick Garland, then had hearings on Amy Comey Barrett's nomination well within the 60 day federal moratorium on nominations before an election. Republicans blocked all of Pres Obama's judicial noms, it got so bad Sen Harry Reid & Senate Dems removed the filibuster for lower court judges, bc it was impossible to get 60 votes for any Obama lower court judicial nom. When Dems lost the Senate, Obama's judicial noms ground to a complete halt again. Republicans blocked so many of his judicial nominees, that Pres Obama in two terms only appointed as many judges as a one term president, while Trump appointed as many judges in one term as a two term president. Which is how we get the incompetence of an Aileen Cannon, bc you start to scrape the bottom of the barrel when you appoint so many ideologue judges at once.

    Republicans stole two SCOTUS seats, plus 4 years worth of judicial nominations, and it's time Dems took those back, and spread the power of the SCOTUS among more ppl, there's just too much power in too few unaccountable, unelected hands. Also, we should have 18 year term limits for judges, and law should be created that explicitly makes SCOTUS accountable to Congress and Congressional investigation, and a legally binding ethics code. We can no longer leave this up to the Justices, we can no longer trust "norms" to mitigate bad behavior. Plus, it's not just a balance of power, it's also checks and balances.

    If nothing else, it will increase confidence in the courts if John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, and Samuel Alito were to be term limited. If an 18 year term limit was established, all three would term out during the next presidency. Conservative news media will have 24/7 hissy fits over about any judicial reform, but who cares, they're always having hissy fits about something, at least this would be something real they could whine about, rather than made up conspiracy theories. .

    Please find female attorneys who can find cases that result in:
    1) all births shall have an identified DNA verified father who must share the bill for all costs of having and rearing a child.
    2) will find that viagra and similar and generic equivalents to be controlled substances or lack sufficient testing to be shown safe and thus market removal.
    3) will find that rapists must be castrated.
    4) will result in confiscation of any and all weapons and ammunition and related licenses from partners guilty of spousal or partner abuse.
    5) laws that hold men accountable for unwanted pregnancies with guaranteed child support.

    Go on the offensive. Start stripping men’s rights and see how they like it. There are plenty of cases, and states, and jurisdictions where an existing female judge can rule.

There’s a far more simple explanation of why America is attempting to go in the direction of a dictatorship; it would serve the privileged wealthy minority while relieving them of the ever increasing responsibilities and concomitant cost of serving the majority. In America money IS the only driver of policy, all else is public relation jargon produced by media advertising campaign strategists. After decades of research along with trial and error, they’ve determined that they can serve democracy to civically challenged masses in a cereal box; correctly choose the size of the box, its colour scheme, using the right fonts on key words and place that box in a strategic position on the shelf amongst the lessor attractive boxes that are harder to reach with a price tag thats confusing thus difficult to compare and the public will choose it nearly every time. Many years ago you can tell who the village people really were by the simple fact they couldn’t speak Latin. The American consumer based society has helped develop an awful lot of village people.
