The Philadelphia Police Department Special Victims Unit is attempting to identify the male suspect depicted in this video. The attempted sexual assault occurred on the 400 block of E. Girard Ave at approximately 7:54 pm on February 11, 2024. The suspect followed the victim, a 24-year-old-female, as she walked home from the gym. He was first observed on Girard at Hope and was last seen walking east on Girard approaching Berks St.
- Suspect Description: Dark complected black male believed to be in his early 30’s. He is approximately 5’10 to 6 feet tall, with a stocky build, full beard, wearing a brownish-green winter coat, black hooded sweatshirt with “NIRVANA†logo, black Under Armour track pants with a thick white strip at the side and base of the legs, and black Under Armour running sneakers with a white sole. He appears to walk with a slight “pigeon toe†step.
