This is the story of a family that had to contend with a world
that often misunderstood the line between reality and theater.
Roddy’s children will ruminate on conflicts they faced in school and in public from people who thought their father was a bona fide bad guy.

i didnt hate piper , he was the reason i started watching wrestling .
Little known fact: Comedian Freddy Lewis once got fired from a job for watching an episode of Piper's Pit in '84. That's DERFCAST with all caps!
What a great dad a good role model u hardly see that to every celebrities or superstar family
A legend through and through
True legend and a icon
oh gosh, so many of them have passed 🙁
God bless your beautiful family, Roddy. Thank you for making my childhood awesome. I was a fan of you and the Hulkster but you won my heart because you loved your fans and I love and miss you Roddy.💖💖
There are certain people in wrestling that as a kid, it didn't matter if they were good guys or bad. Piper was one of those.
One of my favorite films as a kid was They Live starring Roddy Piper
Mr. piper is best show on Piper Pit look cool and we miss him too ! Rip
I got lucky to meet him back in the 80's in Portland Oregon when he worked there , good times.
Legend in and outside ring
One of my favorite wrestlers.
I would imagine his kids being older for some reason. They all see like they’re in their 20s still. I would assume his kids were born in the 80s when he was at the height of his fame. They all seem 10 years younger than me and I was born in the early 80s.
I have tears in my eyes. He and his wife made some beautiful children and provided them with wonderful lives and memories. Legend and icon! RIP!
I so enjoyed this! Believe it or not, I met him fleetingly one Sunday night back in Buffalo in the late eighties. I worked at a restaurant on Niagara Falls Boulevard and late, like ten thirty or so, someone said he was at our take out window. There was a wrestling event in Niagara Falls that evening and there he was, by himself, dressed in a flannel shirt and black leather jacket, and just wanted a quick beer. We couldn't sell it to go, so he politely laughed and left. He was heading to Toronto. I couldn't even begin to describe how incredibly cool and KIND he was to all of us workers, including a few customers who were still there signing autographs and answering questions. I'll never forget how gracious he was, and that alone made me really admire him as a person.
Roddy piper is just as important to wrestling as hulk hogan and he was a good human being. He is missed. ðŸ™ÂÂðŸ™ÂÂðŸ™ÂÂðŸ™ÂÂ😢😢😢😢
If Roddy had his way he could have had Cowboy Bob Orton, Adrian Adonis, and The Mouth of The South "Jimmy Hart" installed at his home as toilets and urinals.
I hope he came home on Christmas and I said “ I am here to deliver Christmas gifts and chew bubble gum and I am out of bubble gumâ€ÂÂ
Piper's pit will never be duplicated
What a Legend!
Rest In Peace roddy you gave us your energy in the ring and you always gave your heart to the family
I listened to his podcast regularly before he passed. He always sounded so authentic. R.I.P.
S/O to Earl Skakel
Loved rowdy Roddy Piper sure will miss you
My all time favorite.
Long live the memory of the late, great Roddy Piper. xoxo The Clarences
I love when he went to WCW at Halloween Havoc in October 1996 because he was actually a face, a face! Roddy Piper the all time heel of the WWE went to another wrestling company as a good guy to face heel NWO Hulk Hogan leading to their match at Starcade in December. One of the best matches during the NWO era.
