TRYING TO FIND BALANCE BETWEEN WORK AND YOUTUBE

TRYING TO FIND BALANCE BETWEEN WORK AND YOUTUBE

I work the hardest job in America… I pour huge concrete pieces in hundred plus degree heat. This job is not easy at all. Plus I shoot YouTube videos as well for A channel called The After Prison Show. Sometimes it’s hard trying to find balance between working which is what I have to do and filming which is what I love to do… Check out this video for more on how I try to find that balance…

  1. I admire your hard work and dedication to keeping clean and making an honest dollar. You're on a good path. Have you considered going for your CDL license? Maybe you can drive those concrete trucks? A lot of trucking companies will pay for your training. Just saying.

  2. @afterprisonshow I starting following your videos with the “tv show you don’t watch in prison” video. It was titled something like that. Anyway, it’s cool hearing your “Prison Accent” Change little by little with every video!! Also the quality gets a bit better with each video. The quality from video 1 to the Shiflett video is incredible!! I just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your hard work very much!! Also, I’m disabled, but I can make videos, like what life is like for a disabled man?? But is it worth it? How do you make money? And how do you get the money? Do they send you a check? Or is it directly deposited into an account? And can you make an ok living from it? Thank Joe. I hope you read this and can help me with an answer to my questions. Have a blessed day my friend.

  3. Watching the end..made me tear up.knowing how far you’ve come. Way to go man. You’re an inspiration

  4. Joe you actually scared the shit out of me. I don’t mean this as a joke either but you were talking about the guy getting run over and then cut to you after work. And at first you weren’t really moving and the way all that dirt was on your face…..I thought it was footage of the dead guy. For real, it didn’t look like you at first.

  5. I wish i didn't have to do my job anymore and could do YouTube ughh i wish I'm a auto mechanic for Ford get up 5 am go to work till 7 at night 6 days a week sucks shop with no a.c. in south florida hot as fuck

  6. Congratulations Joe getting to 1 million subscribers. I've been a subscriber for awhile. I'm not sure how many you had when I joined, but nowhere near how many you have now. I can see in your early videos like this one, how much determination you had to get to where you are now. I know you'll hit another million as long as you keep up what you've been doing for the last 2 years.

  7. Dude we work a very similar job, except my company handles the foundation of bridges, but we drill 300 foot holes to fill with concrete for the support beams of the bridge. 💪

  8. I love you’re older videos bro I just got clean two years ago and got my wife and kids and I’m trying to find good work and pursue my dream of being a tattoo artist which you helped me get on track with through your videos BTW! It’s hard man. I was in the Offield for eight years and on heroin at the same time then went to jail. When I got out oil was down and I’ve been trying to make it work it’s rough and these older videos give me a lot of inspiration! I really hope you see this and actually get back to me…

  9. It's so cool to see how far you've come now, three years later… The perseverance & passion is real. Hell three years from now you may just have a time-slot on T.V. somewhere. Either way, you're an inspirational person. Cheers Joe! ,,/

  12. Wow looking back on this you really have came a long ways Joe just don't forget where you came a from keep helping others I truly believe that's why God has blessed 🙏 you
