  1. thanks man I appreciate at it Walmart called me for an interview tonight so hopefully I get it but if I don't most definitely will be applying what u said to my life

  2. no problem man. and good luck with Walmart! I hope you get the job. no matter what though never stop trying even if you don't… Walmart can sometimes be a hard place for felons to get a job. good luck regardless. it took me awhile to find a decent job. but in the process of that… i worked at a temp service… I hope this video helps you and if there's ever anything else, just ask me and I'll provide you with the best information I can… good luck to you bro.. never forget what you've already been through just to make it this far.

  3. I've never got in jail but i have some tattoos in both hands and a cross and knife near my eye like those guys you've already seen in prison so , I study Arts and I think I'm going to be a tattoo artist , that's the only job i can have with this condition

  4. Hey joe, I'm an avid fan of your videos, I watch them anytime of day, and I was wondering if you could make more videos of stories from your time in prison (kinda like the Somalian pirates video) thank in advance!

  5. ah man see in the us u can walk up to construction and do that, I'm on probation which is the equivalent of parole in the states and we need what's called a C.S.C.S card, to work on any building type site. and btw my picture isn't actually me lool

  6. ive had 7 felonys. 2 ive been convicted of . Craigslist is a great resource. What I do is look for privately owned companys (small businesses like landscaping companys) most of these places don't ask about your record and most you talk to the owner and your hired or not before you even fill out a application. You will have to fill out a app for legal reasons but most I either skip that part or put will tell in person if needed. Its better they hear from you than read it. Its never took me more than 2 weeks to find a job although I do have the blessing of transportation. Out of maybe 5 jobs in the last 5 years only one has known of my record and all I did was tell them and they accepted it. I had already been working there maybe 6 months before the fact and afterwards I did notice maybe when something went missing they might ask me non directly if I had seen it (as if I had stole it) but I understand and although it makes me feel bad I brush it off. The private company thing is my best advice.

  7. Dude, that helped me find a job. I wasn't a convict, and I live 4000 thousands kilometers away in Europe. So yeah, your videos do help people all over the world regardless of situation.

  8. stop checking the square. its really that easy. half of the places that are hiring dont check records they are just looking for a guy to work hard. so lie your ass off. it has helped alot of my friends in the past. i have a friend right now that is making almost 100k a year. i bet if he check the box that says yeah iv been in prison they wouldnt have hired him.

  9. CDL "commercial drivers license " isn't the easiest to get but is a good goal, I'm not a felon but have had my trouble with the law because of alcohol. I harvest timber for a local logging company and have landed a chance to get them so taking advantage of it, It was hard for me to find a job because of all the jobs I lost in the past because I couldn't stay sober but I'm clean now and on my way to a good carrer There are many companies that are willing to help, here are some companies Joe might be able to put in a up coming video.
SWIFT, J.B HUNT, C.R ENGLAND, CRUM TRUCKING, TRANSPORT AMERICA At first the pay isn't the greatest but swift is a very good start up company they will train you in just 3 weeks and give you a job like I said these companies aren't the best but are a great starting point.

  10. whoop. 😎✌✌👍👍

  11. 6. make youtube vids that become so well known that the BBC website in England run a feature on you. Seriously, that's how I heard about your videos – you're a fucking star now!

  12. Definitely great advice from APS. You have to network with everyone you can and put yourself out there and jobs will open up. stay focused and don't give up. thanks Joe from after Prison Show.

  13. This is by far the most challenging part in my case. Feel like I'll never find an opportunity where someone will look beyond my past to give me a shot. Gonna have to get creative like you did lol

  14. Hey Joe thank you very much for the positive message about finding work in all different areas. I myself am fresh out and me seeing you everyday on YouTube brings a lot of people so much hope that you couldn't even imagine. thanks again my brother, Later!

  15. If you live in the state of Maine the answer is simple consult a vr counselor aka a vocational rehabilitation counselor vocational rehabilitation counselors but I also had a friend named Jeremy who I used to go to high school with and this guy named Jeremy was locked up in a juvenile detention center when he was a teenager in high school in Maine and he would always consult people he knew to get a job

  16. If you were a person who went to college to be a police officer and if you were to get arrested then tough shit you crushed your dream of becoming a police officer and you pretty much blew your chance of becoming a police officer and you pretty much blew it you blew it and if your a police officer who is on duty and if you were to get arrested while being on duty as a police officer then you have pretty much crushed your career and you could get the maximum sentence and possibly get the death penalty

  17. Hey Joe i am a CDL truck driver and in my 8yrs of driving almost every driver was an ex felon. One guy i trained with did 8yrs for burglary and arson. So. It's a good way to learn a trade and get out on the road instead of sitting stagnant!

  18. Good vids man im in a half way house in cali been watching all your shit for a couple days now. I use to make vids my ex wife put a end to it years ago i need to get back… good vids man
