A few months ago, we did a video called The Life Of A Drug Addict featuring a good friend of mine who has battled addiction throughout her life. In today’s video, I am going to give you as much of an update on her life currently as I can. While also sharing with you a video you may have never seen. The prequel leading up to The Life Of A Drug Addict featuring that same good friend of mine who at the time of the first video, was dealing with something else entirely.

  1. I would have been worried that she was holding while in the car so if y'all got pulled over there is a possibility that all of y'all would be in trouble

  2. i was scared you where gonna say she passed away big homie. i hope she can stay straight when she gets out, i think i aint that far from you man, you are a great soul.

  3. Get that girl to an NA meeting! There is a solution! If she won't stay clean until she has her kids back, and she won't get her kids back until she gets clean…. Obviously there needs to be something else to come into play. The NA family and my higher power saved my life. Hope she finds the rooms.

  4. If you ever end up on this road get yourself into suboxone treatment and get into some rooms..group meetings, na, etc. I've had years clean time relapsed but am ultimately clean now and don't want to ever go back

  5. I agree with you for the most part but prison isn't the answer for addiction. They need actual help. I know plenty of people that went to prison and went straight back to the addiction. The state's need to set up more mental health clinics and safezones for addicts so if they do use they won't fricken die. The stigma of addiction needs to be lessened so people aren't afraid to get help. Some people dont get help because they are afraid of what others will think.

  6. All addicts started out by just dabbling or recreational use. No one tries a drug in hopes of becoming a junkie or addict and get over their head with addiction

  7. 10:07 reason she keeps relapsing is because she was still smoking weed ! That activated the physical allergy and that induced craving for more and more and more. You gotta shift from limbic brain to recovered brain: emotionally, physically, and spiritually. WEED IS NOT SOBER

  8. I've been clean for 5 years I use opiates for 10 years. That is what I do on my channel and show people that there is life after addiction. I do think her being locked up is probably the best thing for her but she has to make life changes while she's in there also I opening up to what caused her to use in the first place and letting go of all the people from her past. I have seen that a lot of people get clean thinking they will be the same person that they were before they ever used and I think that is setting yourself up for failure you will not be the same person you were before you use you are different just as a person that has never used drugs is different from who they were a year ago. I do wish her the best of luck I only want to see addicts succeed in getting sober

  9. She sounds cleaner. It's too bad pot is illegal in most states. Better to do that than the heavy shit. It's better than drinking alcohol.

  10. What's ur opinion about being caught with small drug amounts and going to jail? Don't you get drugs in jail ? If they spending money to jail her, isn't better to spend money on rehab?

  11. Its so sad I perfectly understood everything coming from growing up in Baltimore and being hooked on heroin for all of my adult life to owning my own buisness and living clean in Florida with my 2 yr old it can be done jail was what it took for me when I got out u ran from the city she should do the same

  12. Hi there Joe. You're a good man. I've left information on a couple of other videos you have done about drugs and addiction. I just wanted to suggest something that is pretty much a miracle for addiction but most of all opiate addiction! You obviously want to help others so please check out this plant medicine that wipes the addicted brain chemistry clean overnight! Yes overnight! . It's called ibogaine. All I ask is you research ibogaine yourself
Just do your research type in ibogaine and opiate addiction and watch the videos and experiences of the many people who have got clean literally overnight! Just check it out for yourself Joe. I promise you that you will be amazed and intrigued by the many accounts of addicts getting clean. All the best.

  13. Even jail can't "fix" addiction. It depends on so many things, I mean you can take the drugs away from her but unless SHE wants it, she'll get high the minute she gets out. Maybe she needs Suboxone or methadone. Never know.

  14. I clearly remember her asking for stability. Jail/prison might be bad places, but they are stable. When compared to the life style she was living.
I hope she finds her path, and has enough "stable" time, that she can recover and find the will to do it.

You can get all the "help" and support in the world. Unless you really want to change, and help….. You know the rest.

  15. I haven't be to prison or did any long time in jail but these stories about addiction and what they have been through helps me some how. Iv been struggling with drugs for years now and I try to get clean and as soon as I start to get me shit together and fell normal I fall again. It's getting harder to stand back up. This last time I was almost gone. I gave up and just except what I was (witch was nothing). And I just lived my days out chasing the high and doing what ever I could to get high.. and even though I was a junkie.. I still had one person that believed in me and pulled me out of that never ending road that goes noweare..I could go on and on about my my sobe story lol but the point about me posting this is to thank you for trying to help people. People like you are the ones that can truly change someones life.. if their wasn't people like you in this world, someone like me could be dead right now..

  16. I been clean for almost 10 years from dope. But there’s a girl like this in every drug circle. Why do they all have that same kind of voice?

  17. Joe you do a great job creating content. You didnt bring any glamour to this lifestyle which alot of people do. I lived that life for 8 years. Im happy to say I have been clean for 18 months have a good job and a great place to live but every day is a struggle and i never forget how easy it will be to go back to that life. Keep up the good work man

  18. drinking all of that water was probably pretty dangerous, i'm not even kidding.
there's people who have died from drinking too much water, it's called water intoxication.
