If you work in the law enforcement field you have to be able to detach yourself from the hideous and disgusting things humans do to each other.
There are a lot of professions that require us to repel things because it gets heavy. Police officers, social workers, prison staff, nurses, etc. It takes a tremendous toll on you emotionally, psychologically, and physically.
I WAS 18YRS OLD AN INTERN AT SLOANE & LUKS LAW FIRM AND ON MY LUNCH BREAK I SAT IN ON HIS TRIAL… HE HAD AN EVIL LOOK ON HIS FACE I'LL NEVER FORGET IT
