Hugh Wilson and WKRP ripped it off
This HAD to be the inspiration for the WKRP Thanksgiving turkey scene! It just HAS to be.
"I'm from Detroit. I don't know. It had feathers. I thought it would fly."
.
Just saw him now on jesus christ superstar. He was herod..what a ugly fuckstick.
No more mr nice guy! 😂😂😂
The two most important events in rock history happened here
1.John Lennon performs solo for the first time
2.Alice Cooper rockets to fame thanks to a chicken.
The documentary makes it clear that shameless "supermensch" Gordon was willing do whatever it takes to make his friend/client famous, with the M.O. of shocking the audience and, more importantly, the parents of audience members. And we're supposed to believe that the chicken incident was just a fortuitous accident? I don't buy it…not for one minute. But even ignoring that, I don't see anything in the documentary that would justify Gordon earning the title of supermensch. He's an immoral jerk. Maybe the title was intentionally ironic.
