  1. You don’t depend on just lags and straps to hold all that weight with all that height; of course they’ll pull out. I could pull it those lags out with just a 3’ prybar. Side bracing from the stake pockets is one of the best ideas to keep it from shifting sideways.(maybe with 6’ pry bars and 4×4’s u-bolted to the prybars with guide lags at the top for strap retainers, then the 4×4’s strapped leaning against the load to the opposite 4×4’s/prybars, which will force the braces against each other leaning & help prevent the loss from shifting.) Some of these shippers have such tight deadlines and profit margins and lacking common sense that they put these ahead of others’ safety, or don’t even think of what’s required.
