I ran across a post on the APS fan page on Facebook about a guy by the name of Rene Lima Marin. A man who was serving 98-year prison sentence and who was released after 8 years by accident. Wait until you hear the rest.

  1. Why is it Judges throw out cases all the time due to mistakes on the DA's part or prosecutor, or just things MISFILED. Although when it's the Judges pple that make the mistakes you have to pay the piper no matter the mess up?

  2. I'm personally glad that he got a second chance because I've been in my own troubles and man that stigma of once a criminal always a criminal is so far from the truth as well as once an addict always an addict because I'm now over 3 years clean and I tell you that change is always possible if you want it. God bless everyone and have a good day.

  3. It could have played out like as she's typing along to she type 8 and thought to herself It "it almost sounded like they said '98 ,something in my ☕ this morning 😄 , this guy is lucky that no one got killed or it could have easily been 98"🤯

  4. God knows every man/woman’s heart and why one man miraculously was released from prison and the other not.

  5. 8 years is standard in sweden for that type of crime if you don’t kill anyone. While in prisone the inmates have swimmingpools, playdtations, all inmates have tv’s for free with like 100 channels, they have their own bathroom and shower and get really nice food

  6. I suppose you do have to just put it down to a miracle. I heard that in the USA in the old days if someone was sentenced to death and for some reason the first attempt to hang them didn't work ( rope broke etc ) it would be seen as an intervention from God and no matter what this person had done or how awful they were thought to be that was respected and that person was released. Debt to society paid. You just have to stop questioning and see it as something no one is ment to understand or question. ( Still, try and get his co defendant to accept it like that though. )

  7. If no one lost their life or was injured in the robberies then 8 years is long enough. Especially if he didn't re-offend while out for six years. That speaks volumes in itself. Wow! Just heard the ending of the story! Glad it had a happy ending. The guy sounds like he earned his freedom by changing his life and serving his community. This really is a story of divine intervention.

  8. He technically served his sentence and they released him early I say if they want him in there again it will need to be a different charge.

  9. Maybe that means we, well ok, you, since my country does not do shit like this, should not be sending people to prison for 100 years. Those harsh laws were mostly introduced to discourage mafia activity, but it's past time to reform them.

  10. Personally I don't think you're still the same person after just one year, much less eight. You may not be a better person, but you're different

  11. That sentence doesn't even come close to fitting the crime. Glad he is finally free and doing good.
His partner in crime should get the same chance. I hope someone is working with him. It's a stupid sentence and even if he isn't a changed man, well he won't be the first person to return to prison. But he should be given the chance

  12. The system is so jacked up. Robbing a place get you more time than murder? Doing/selling drugs get more then child molester ? Prison system really needs reformed

  13. He should have been out the country day one. Get out of dodge, never put faith in the system. I would be in the back woods of some european country doing labor for cash, living a quiet life in a small cabin. Better poor, free and speaking Swedish than playing hide and seek with the cops forever or living the savage life behind bars.

  14. Dude shouldn’t be here if he wants to come to our great country illegally and committing crimes when he shouldn’t be here in the first place. This is the very reason we have a wall, to keep criminals out and allowing only deserving people an opportunity here in the free world.

  15. This is what I used to like watching on your channel. I don’t care if you have to make a felon flippers channel or something but please do something.

  16. I heard a story about a guy who killed someone back in the 80's. Got away with the murder clean. In the late 90's he was married had a couple kids the whole 9. I guess his guilt was so heavy he actually drove 3hrs to the town he murdered this person to turn his self in. The cops actually let him leave after he gave all the info. By that time it as a cold case and in the 80's and 90's it wasn't that easy. So they looked into everything he said and sure enough they arrested him and he got life

  17. They should get the 2nd chance, excluding child killers, there should never be a 2nd chance.what's this crap about 2 life sentences+45 years.Doe's it mean when the prisoner dies they have to keep him locked up for another 45 year's before his funeral, I wouldn't want to share a cell with him in that 45 years.I can even smell him now 😱😷😂😇

  18. 98 years for robbery, kidnapping and burglary. I have heard of murderers, pedophiles, and worse get off easier. American law is still a joke.

  19. Essentially life imprisonment for a couple robberies is absolutely appalling. I don't think they should have gotten a small amount of time, but 98 FKIN YEARS???? That is absolutely insane….

  20. All things work together for good for them that love God. God gave this man a second chance and did everything to prove that even the Court's error was God's hand working for Renee-Lima Marin. Lima Marin's life is a prove that no one is really a total write.
Whether or not his co-defendant could would have changed is a matter of speculation. But it'll do no harm to grant him the pardon. It'll be his own choice if he goes back to his old ways.

  21. He didn't hurt anyone. Leave the man alone as long as he is doing right.
Thank you Joe for your insight into a world that nobody wants to experience. God bless!

  22. Deporting felon immigrants is obviously a just and lawful action but with a pardon from the state I can't understand how the feds still went with it. Worked out in the end but still…
