Dave I have to have conflict with you on this one. I have seen unskilled labor that have done a better job than skilled labor I have to give you that. However. Who would you have more faith in someone who's done a thousand tile jobs or someone who has done zero tile jobs? Professionals that called Professionals for a reason.
