  1. I know her episode aired a decade ago but I just saw it for the first time last night. I absolutely loved when, after accepting help, Penny-Lee looked directly at Candy and said 'Thank you'. I know that sounds ridiculous but it was a combo of the sound of her voice and the expression on her face when she said it. A mixture of relief, gratitude, the weight of the world lifting off her shoulders that she was getting help. Her episode is one of my favorites. I hope she is still doing well.

  2. The family was helping her addiction. One scene said she drank beers at a family party. If you know a loved one was an alcoholic, why would you have alcohol there? If you cannot have a party or have fun at a party without alcohol then you need to look at yourself as being an alcoholic.

  3. That's awesome! I want to see everyone on this show succeed. It's heartbreaking when you see they don't. Great job, never go back 👏 🙏🙏🙏

  4. Happy for her and her family! She’s a beautiful soul ☄️💫

  5. I remember thinking that Kristi (the one who makes Penny-Lee babysit her son without pay) must have had more issues than Penny-Lee herself. Like, WTF IS WRONG WITH KRISTI?!? She knew her mom is an alcoholic (hence, NO pay) but yet dumps her son on Penny-Lee. I was so mad at Kristi, she got more of my negative attention in Penny-Lee's episode than Penny-Lee herself.

As far as Penny-Lee is concerned, I am so happy for Penny-Lee staying sober and I wish her nothing but true happiness and the absolute best for her!

  6. I didn’t recognize her in her recovered state bc she was smiling 😁 she didn’t smile during the intervention program
    Keep going, Penny!!!

  7. She looks amazing. Stopping drinking was like massive plastic surgery for her — looks 20 years younger and it's been several years since her getting sober!
