In this interview episode of AfterPrisonShow. I speak with a woman named Shanna who was charged with something she didn’t do and was facing a life sentence because of that. Not only is the story of her case something that deserves a lot of attention but also what she has been doing since all of this is incredibly positive!

  1. Crap like this shouldn't happen in this country. It's passed time we stood up together and demand true justice in our court system. We've got a Constitution and have to demand our elected officials abide by it regardless what political party they belong to.

  2. Insurance companies are just like the judicial system. They immediately deny the facts and fight you, then (if you're lucky enough) they offer you a "deal" and hope you take it just to get it over with, just like a plea deal. They hope you take the pocket change they offer and if you don't then they make you fight more and eventually you end up with less than you're entitled to unless you pay large amounts of money for a lawyer who will just try to take the easy way out and take whatevers on the table so they can get their cut. It's a lose-lose…at least in my experience.

  3. You should sue everyone and every institution that harmed you for EVERYTHING they've got – from the fireman who mislead you, to the police, to the insurance companies, to their investigators, to the public defender, to the person who owned the house, to the judge, to everyone who failed you and who didn't do their jobs. I hope you win 1 billion dollars

  4. My house burned down and everyone at the scene were the most helpful people ever,,, first thing they did is save any pictures they could along with saving our cats. I’m sorry she had to go through hell just to go through a second hell.

  5. im sorry for telling this but i can read people, shes guilty.. trust me.. shes staying at prison and get her charges. lets start at the beginning, when she tryes to explain whole situation she blinks her eyes differently and she starting to think what comes next, it happes kinda fast but if you can read the person then you know what to look for. im sorry but she is sitting in the prison for a long long time. Im telling this to everyone, if you try to lie there is persons who read your body language and you will get your punishment.

  6. Well, Even though this lady has the world of good intentions, the point is, who's willing to take the risk of employing an ex con?! Unfortunately, the price is paid by everyone.

  7. thats so sad to think after a tragedy like loosing her house she was subject to a long investigation like that you'd think the police would help when dealing with something like that instead of making incriminating assumptions off of a person's financial class

  8. Our system is broken all over not just Georgia but everywhere and in order to fix it we would have to start over again and the powers that be don't want their lies and falsehoods being aired out it would be their downfall and that's why it ain't getting fixed till Jesus Christ comes back, hopefully soon

  9. What an amazing woman, a incredible journey and truth and justice happened, insurance companies are corrupt you’ll never win against them. They have so many resources.
I’m so happy you’re able to help others, your passion and desire to help other is really admirable.
