  1. This was refreshing to hear how he turn his life around and how he is doing well now. I've never been into drugs but have seen many friends of mine fall down that path and also find it near impossible to get out of. Ricky is awesome and i wish him the best.

  2. Thanks for Sharing brother. That is as real as it gets. Been through pretty similar situation. Denial, embarrassment, hopelessness, the addiction itself will take many many years from you plus health, family, friends. It's a life long battle. These stories your stories makes us feel like we are not the only ones. Thank you..

  3. Absolute BANGER of a video Joe. Being a recovering addict myself, who also luckily avoided jail/prison time, I can relate so much to Ricky’s story. I hope to see more of him in the future and hope he continues to stay clean and live a great life.

  4. If you want to skip to the interview start at 6:20 . You will skip:
SO ricky, it's a great honour to be here.
    Thanks for inviting me.
It's a great honour to be here. Thanks again for having us.
Again, thanks again for having us. It's a cool boat.
So, ricky, it's a great honour to be her with you.
Now, first of all, thank you for inviting us here. It's an honour. Look at this boat.

  5. I wish him every success I do , but at three years he’s a beginner . He ain’t quit nothing . He’s just sober today . But good luck and when it comes I hope he sees it for what it is or who it is and manages to get off before he wakes up stoned

  6. You've got a great format here man. The foundation of these stories are very strong. They are about people that were trapped in very dark places and some how escaped after a long amount of time and struggle. They are people who you would not root for at the time, but with a level of turn around that makes you want to. Keep it up man. Thumbs up.

  7. This is the kind of stuff that got me into APS channel. And keep me watching again ..we need more of this level of stories ..

  8. Excellent video, I very much enjoyed it. You have good interview skills. Whoever edited this was good too. Keep up the wonderful work!

  9. Major props to you bro. Takes a real man to admit his downfall and fix it. I could listen to you all day you speak with intelligence. We all go threw bad times only the strongest will come out on top. You are a inspiration bro keep up the great work .

  10. This is the most inspiring story I've heard so far. Cause he could of easily used when he got pushed out of rehab. But he didn't and he kept pushing for clean time no matter what.

  11. They say change people, places, and things. Once you start doing that. Your life will start to change for the better. I'm from Miami. And ended up in Naples Fl. And its so true about your life will change. Cause its gotten so much better.

  12. Holy Moly! Insurance fraud, recovery places as a place to purchase drugs, this interview is crazy! Someone contact 60 minutes because at least that insurance fraud should be a whole exposé.

  13. My Mom went 2 Rehab 4 30 days, She needed more than 30 days, They just kicked her out because her insurance didn't want 2 pay after 30 days, She been getting high since she was 21, She 67 now, Drugs R a horrible thing, Thank God none of my brothers or sister we never did drugs!!!! I hope & pray tht she get it 2gether 1 day!!!!!!!

  14. Is crazy how drugs are almost in every single family and probably every single house. It's something that can change your life and future for ever. I regret using drugs every time that i look back on my past… I've been clean for 3 years .
