He already made a video about this!!! Like 2 or 3!!! WTF?!
If he got locked up again he could make InPrisonShow 😂
I did time in the Chain Gang Florida. CFRC east/main, Hardy, Polk and Avon Park C.I – I worked, didn't make a dime. Your in the Chain Gang… your working. Even with open cases, like I did in Massachusetts at the time…. you just dont go outside the gate.
in 2018, i was in a work camp in Washington State and worked in the kitchen and was paid 42 cents per hr
So slavery?
13th amendment
That is all
I've always thought that prisoners should make at least minimum wage and be forced to pay rent.
The only problem is no one wants to give you a job because your a felon so is not easy
My experience in my state, is you don't have to work. Now for me I wanted to work just to get out of my cell more and make my time to quicker. Everytime they did count in my prison you had to lock down in your cell or housing unit. I worked in the store (commissary). It was in a building, old prison factory, in the part of the prison grounds notnised anymore. They utilized two buildings in that area. We never got locked down during count, you just went and stood on the yellow line. We made $1.68 a day (8 hour day) and $$1.74 a day if you worked (over 8 hours). That is a day, not an hour.
When I was released, I got a debit card with the balance of my money on it.
In Florida you don't get paid unless you're at an incentive camp
They probably get paid better or what have you in Alaska because everything costs so damn much there. I had a TDY in Alaska back in 2011 and cigarettes on the military base were almost $10 a pack.
Love your content. Mutch love from Germany ex prisoner I was spend 7 years behind bars
It's been a hot minute since I watched but I'm glad I checked in! Good video. This is the content I miss
I’m 90% sure prisoners in Sweden can watch YouTube lol
Certainly there must be people who refuse to work what happens to them ????
Alaska is expensive as hell that's y..😂lol
It should be illegal to pay slave labor
I never plan to go to prison but if they tried to make me work for a little bit of nothing I would tell them to kiss my ass I have way too many health problems to let them end my life that way n I'm sure prison doctors will side w the state n say u can work even if u cant

You should have included if you did not forest fire fighter or assistant. Also if your being paid you could have been given taxes paid as well, and the return would likely be higher because of the fact you paid and earn to little to honestly make enough that most taxes would effect you greatly. But yeah, in Cali they have fire fighters from prisons who they made a big deal about the fact they could not be hired to keep doing that work when they get out even with them being qualified and haven been sent to do said work by the prison, only getting paid like 3 dollars or 2.75. When others who do the work from other organizations or such could take the same two weeks or more of assisting in fighting forest fighters or such in other government or programs that are not prison, and get paid like 10 or 15k for the two weeks of service helping around the forward camps or such.
Honestly I would tell them no
It's a profitable business for the state
Maybe Chris Watts is working for zero .
In Michigan you have to have a ged,to work you get paid for going to school on your books enough to get two bags of coffee every two weeks that's what I did with my money I made from going to school sometimes you could get three bags of the cheap Keefe coffee
Actually joe prison dose not pay anyone a single cent of actual USD. All jobs in prison pay credit for commensary aka canteen which is like a make believe good boy point system you find in a kindergarten class room.
