2. She acts like she has some interest in the father.

3. She put the responsibility of creating a healthy relationship with their father on the CHILDREN!!!! That is THE FATHER'S responsibility!!! I hate people who do this to children. She's ridiculous and any ADULT who thinks like this are idiots and aren't allowing the parent to be held accountable for dropping the ball on the relationship with their own children. It's madness!!!

I'm from Appalachia, so have seen numerous situations of absolute horrible parenting, and the children still love them regardless, unless someone is in their ear, playing on their gullibility.

16. 17 days in juvie??? They're freaking children! The judge doesn't know the dad from Adam, so who's to say that he's not a violent person and is emotionally scarring them? Those poor kids.

The fact that the dad didn't step in to stop this ridiculous order to "love" him and didn't stop them being sent to juvenile detention multiplied by the fact that this equally ridiculous "judge" thinks that you can force a child to love a parent they've grown estranged from, and that she couldn't deduce that this kind of authoritarian approach would just make their relationship even worse…… Does she even have children? I personally don't have children of my own but I was one once and even I know that's not how "healthy" relationships work. No one had to brainwash me when I decided I didn't want to talk with my father after he chose drugs over his family.
