  1. This is when Freddie really got to me as an actor. The way he holds back the tears is just so spot on! He's one talented guy!

  2. do you guys think Norman ever really had romantic feelings for her tho? I mean he kinda has an obsession with blondes cuz of his mother, but do you think he would have really developed feelings for her if he lived a normal life with a HEALTHY attachment to his mother?

  3. I think Norman never was romantically/sexually attracted to Emma. But what he's feeling here is embarrassment from being rejected more so otherwise abandoned yet again by someone he actually respects and is protective of like he is of his mother.
Also, frustration that he can't be "normal" for a relationship to work. Maybe by forcing his relationship with Emma, the only girl somewhat approved by Norma, he thought it was his one chance at being normal. But yet again he's being reminded that he has "issues"/isn't normal, yet the one he is closest to (Norma) and trusts the most won't tell him the truth about himself and denies everything instead. Total emotional isolation and confusion; it's very difficult to be in that sort of mental prison and long-term?? Well, some people break under the pressure and here we arrive at Norman Bates….The song "Mad World" really fits him I think…very sad : (

  4. if she truly loved Norman she would have stood by his side no matter what, instead his best friend who he finally took a chance on decides she doesn't want him anymore, then starts dating his brother, and after this it is like everything they meant to each other never existed.

  5. Emma made such a huge deal out of Norman that it really doesn't make sense to me, her and Norman had a bond that she never had with Dylan, how could she move on so fast after acting so crazy about Norman?

  6. I don't know about you guys but I love Norman's voice! Dang! <3 And he could have easily pushed her into the pit and covered her with some dirt. She was lucky to not have been killed by him once you think about it.

  7. I love how she's still talking even tho he has that face a person would make when he's about to strangle you XD She's one brave girl. Hope she survives in the end

  8. I wouldn't have dumped him by a freaking pit. I thought he was going to push her in. He needed her to make Norma jealous and is probably upset his plan didn't work.

  9. What's he getting upset about? It's not like he ever wanted a relationship with her anyway. All he could think about was that blonde chick… no, you pervs. Not his mother.
