13:53 She is not using past tense to describe the encounter. "And I remember saying…" not "I remember I said…" among other examples in this excerpt. This is a common indicator of someone making a story up as they go along, not reciting what happened. Not saying this seals the case — I'm not through with the episode itself — just an interesting factoid I've noticed to be true over the years. Also she had a powder burn on her hand but claimed to have not fired the gun? Very curious…
I couldn't go to a church with 400 people much less live in a town with that many people!
so she can get on parole after only 2 years
I've told the same lie for years and I started to believe it keep my nose clean now don't have to remember my lies much easier way to live
She didn't get nothing but 18 for taking his life then don't want to do that terrible then you still get out white privileged at his best
If she had a "Dream Team" of lawyers she might got away with it?
Did you think the guy deserved this?
Going to prison for something you did not do would be horrible but on the other hand, she hast answer to God and if she didn’t do it she can have peace of mind in her heart that she’s innocent.
3 is a magic number
Why does she constantly wipe her desert-DRY eyes???
@ 14:13, I don't believe her.
Love the small town eps!
Exeter, Virginia: 96.7% White (2843 people), 1.9% African-American (56 people), 0.3% American Indian or Alaskan Native (10 people), 0.1% Asian (2 people), 0.1% other race (2 people) and 0.9% reports more races (26 people).
What about DNA on the thing in his pocket that belong to the car?
I find it hard to believe that this woman shot herself in the stomach in a plot to kill her husband. That's a huge gamble and risk. This isn't a simple flesh wound.
Sorry. I have a very hard time believing she shot herself in the stomach. Unless she was some kind of medical genius, she took a tremendous risk. Nope.
Welcome to Virginia the most corrupt justice system in the country .. (FACTS)
14:00 her story makes NO sense, her repeating "the kids" "the kids"is clearly a ploy for sympathy. look at her face during the reenactment. she's smirking while recounting this fantastical tale of lies
i love how SHE is the victim, of her husband, the lawyers, the jury… and yet HE is the one lying dead on the ground… some of these women play victim to a point of complete absurdity
If ever there was a deep south ahem “classist†( shall we say?) woman… it’s Dennis Pease’s mother.
I think this woman is innocent. Who in the world would gut shot themselves? Surviving that is pretty low. The state really over stepped with 3 trials.
