The Workhorse Group announced its W-15 electric pickup last year but only made it available for fleets and not the public. Now, though, CEO Steve Burns says the demand is so strong, preorders will be available to everyone. AutoBlog reports that with a $1,000 refundable deposit that goes towards the price and an EV tax credit of $7,500 the truck will have a purchase price of $45,000.
The W-15 has a range of 80 miles, puts out 450 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 5.5 seconds. Workhorse is also ahead of Tesla who still has yet to put a pickup into production. Would you ever consider an electric pickup? Let us know

What's the range with a hay bail in the back pulling a trailer?
Looks like a morbidly obese new body style Chevy
The range without towing is not acceptable. This is forced technology meaning its not ready for the public but they still launch it.
A truck is a truck (exhaust or no) if it hauls and does it's job that's all I care about… Though that range sucks and I'm sure it's way worse with a load on it. Neat concept, useless in actual practice, except for rich companies as a status icon delivery run about lol.
My reservatio starts with a number 5 would be great if im number 5 on the list 🙂 i ordered mine back 3 days ago
