Ran into ANOTHER Tesla with very little/no visible damage and it’s been completely totaled with an estimated cost to repair HIGHER than its actual cash value with NO damage!

Skip to 11:57 to hear the reason why…..
Need to retitle this video.. you NEVER answer the very question you ask… All this is is you browsing through 2 or 3 copart listings… Weak…. And let's be honest here… A fail…
no answer as to why the 78k repair bill…. that was the point of watching the video – to see what the surprise damage was….don't bait click us
Tbh… a Tesla is really bad for places that have floods, why? well, battery packs are on the bottom of the car, the electric engines (two or four of them) are on the bottom of the car, what happens when water meets electricity? it shorts it out.
ZAP and it's a dead tesla.
Samcrac, you seem to be very knowledgeable about rebuilding cars, Tesla is just not your area of expertise. When you make a video like this, could you please ensure that you at least answer the question that prompt your viewers to watch it; everyone's time is precious (yours & ours). After 12 minutes of watching this I still have no clue why this Tesla has $78K in damage. In fact it probably does not, most likely has less than $5K given that someone was willing to spend $50K to buy it.
prob a typo 7,849 sound alot more reasonable based on pics
i would just buy it and drive it as is get some hood pins
Tesla x… Its sooo ugly car
Watching with 1.25x speed is so much better.
These cars which is deemed totaled or rebuild, Tesla won't help you on anything or sometimes you cannot charge at the charging stations.
I was the 1400th like hahahaha
it's kind'a weird to see such effed up 2017 Tesla X models.
this cars are arriving to auctions with the batteries removed.
a Tesla has the main battery for the motor and the secondary normal 12V for its system. So even if you see pictures with a working display the car could still be missing the whole Tesla battery pack….
This car it's to high , probably the battery was removed
looks like the battery was removed
Tesla will see the car is salvage and not supported. They will turn off your auto drive feature and fast charge.
Alot od people who own or rebuild Tesla feel Tesla is removing features from cars and breaking the law.
To be fair, those panel gaps could be factory. It is Tesla we are talking about…
Man I like your content but fucking hate your personality.
I know this is like a year old but I noticed the insurance companies for Geico I work with Geico I work in a body shop we don't actually work on Tesla's but I can tell you that they somehow use a salvage value to determine their totals and with the salvage value High they add it to the est. I don't understand it.
I assume that on the white Tesla model x , the repair is so expensive because if the damage was in the left rear wheel , probably that screwed the drive unit, which i understand is very expensive…
Rascist
The problem is that Nicola Tesla did not design this car.
To the owner of tesla i say suck a pant antler
Each rim is $3k new
Car guru
so why the hell you didn't buy it? the first one?
Is ford that desperate for sales to cut my video every 2 minutes ?
