We have 4 bolts stuck in the engine block of this rare e39 BMW. A job like this can add days of labor to what was supposed to be a straight forward repair, but a $20 Chinese Amazon tool saved the day…

  1. Very cool project . Good on you guys. 👍👍

  2. I entered, I really hope I win!!! Or at least goes to someone who will appreciate it. My 04 e46 M3 was such an amazing car and I haven’t had anything cool since I sold it 8 years ago. IMO the e39 was amazing, every 5 series since was not able to come loss to such a timeless design as this…join the raffle, $20 can help so much and also makes you feel good about yourself, I’m unfortunately on q and times are rough but this is such a good cause.

  3. Those bolts are aluminum and won’t be heated by induction… using steel bolts in an aluminum block would probably make they seize even harder.

  4. You need a better induction tool – I got one from Draper in the UK and a suspension bolt Id been on for 2 days came of in about 10 minutes. I wont put a link on someone else's video but theres a link under all of mine to find it, its literally the best tool Ive ever used

  5. Where you learned to handle the tools so scrap way? Ratchet and extension, what a heck? Ratchet is not designed for such a stupidity!!! This is brakerbar "wild" territory. Respect the tools

  6. Amazing cars these as I've had one. So silly smooth to drive but unfortunately mine gave up and decided to finally stop spending money on it so it went to the resting place for cars 😢 I may very buy another should one come along the the write price😁

  7. Wow. I also had a silver 530i e39, 5 speed manual, 220.000km. This video brings so many feelings back. Luckily, mine ran beautifully 😎

  8. The reason the bolts are coming out so much easier now is because you had all the weight of the trans hanging on those four bolts.

  9. Looks like the car has been used for emissions testing. Probably why there's multiple exhaust ports and holes in the intake.
