The Wallet Ninja is one of those novelty tools you’ll try and find as many uses for as you can. It’s also a great conversation starter. In addition, I think it’s a great, affordable, gift idea. I’ve been using my Wallet Ninja now for a couple of months and I’ve really enjoyed it. Granted, I haven’t used all the available tools, but the tools I have used, have worked pretty good. My one con is that I wish the letter/box opener’s blade was a little better as it doesn’t always work as good as I’d like. I also had some issues setting up the cell phone stand, but honestly, that’s not important to me. Lastly, if you do take it on a flight with you, make sure you remove it from you bag or pocket and put it in the TSA bin separately. Trust me on this, it may save you a strip search. That is, unless you’re into that kind of thing.

Thanks for watching.

  1. Got one today, I like gimmick stuff.
This video makes refrence to the two holes, they are there to secure the item to the packaging with a twist tie for theft prevention. Nothing more, nothing less. I am enjoying the tool so far, sure I will forget about it in a week, but right now it's been fun.

  2. I wonder if the TSA would swipe it from you…  I know cruise ships won't let you take any kind of tool AT ALL on board.  They would take it away.

  3. I got one for free few days ago. It's a cool thing to have in your wallet, but certainly not as useful as advertised. The letter opener for one is pretty much useless, I think I could do a cleaner cut with a hockey stick. I will continue to open boxes with my keys and letters with my thumb in the future.
The phone stand thing seems dangerous to use since it could damage your cards by bending or scratching them (if you really need it, use old gift cards or something).
Rules work as you might expect, but are too short to be really handy. Screwdrivers work but are awkward to use. Wrench bit I have not tested, and for your average consumer it will probably be completely useless, how many times do you run across a random hex head bolt you really need to open on the spot? I haven't tested the can opener yet, but if it does work it will be super handy after the apocalypse.

At least the bottle opener works if you need a beer once this thing has frustrated you enough 😛 I will continue to have this in my wallet, but mostly for the bottle opener. I'll see if I find more uses for it as time goes on.

  4. Just got this as a Christmas present, and BAM: Eric has a video of it! I'm gonna Craigslist all the Snap-On tools I have that this Ninja replaces, because it's that awesome 😉

  5. Hey Eric, great videos. I've been looking at a few of your videos about Hondas and I was wondering if you can just give me a few ideas about how to fix my problem. In Idle the car runs but as soon as I press the gas pedal it chokes almost to a halt. Then, I take my foot off and It will stabilize. Eventually the car will die. I just changed fuel pump and checked the egr valve and that doesn't seem to be the problem. What else could I  be looking at to find my problem.

I drive a 1992 Honda Accord LX stock besides Aftermarket air filter. Took the air filter off and it still does the same thing too.
