It looks like the Volkswagen Bus may be on its way back to production! The Volkswagen I.D. Buzz bus concept was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show recently and it’s got a lot of people talking about the iconic VW bus making a comeback. Although a concept, it was reported by Jalopnik that VW brand chief Herbert Diess is quote “a fan” of the return of the iconic Volkswagen bus! So this is good news for all of you fans of nostalgia out there.
According to VW sources the production model of the VW bus would not be much different than that of the concept version and will come with an all-electric powertrain. When asked about a potential release date, a VW source said that it looks like 2022 is what’s planned as of now. Are you on board with VW bringing it back?
