You should've named it the Claw Bearer
They found a funeral fainting kit some smelling amonia and aspirin.
Highkey sketch build, would love to see a full restomod
"Let the dead bury the dead."
You guys are dead serious with this one
Your site wont play the next video at the track. Arrgh! Its like having to leave a movie 15 min before the end. Its glitchy. Yes I shut off addblock.
I know it does not make it run any better but it kills me that the old parts are not cleaned up and painted. Sorry.
Name painted on the rear for the losers to see — "Final Respect"
This hearse will be one quick trip to the other side.
Hmmm I know where a 1970 Caddy hearse I can get cheap is
Aww he** yeah im lovin ya'all got my fav car in the shop im a hearse guy like alot like their vettes and im partial to the 71's thats what yr i was born
Hope this car returns soon
Those came off GM's truck line as a Cadillac front end, crates of parts and a lengthened chassis with heavy duty truck suspension. The coach builders used that to build their products. That explains the leaf spring rear truck suspension instead of the coil spring rear suspension which regular Cadillac cars were built with. Also, commercial chassis came with 472. That's what this one should have unless it was replaced. The 500 CI was not that common, you had to pay extra for it. They didn't squander them on commercial chassis. I have NEVER seen a CC Cad that wasn't a 472, and honestly, it's pretty hard to tell the difference in something that weighs over 3 tons. This particular one was intended to double as ambulance duty, it has the chrome bar on the drivers side interior to hold the cot in place. 1977 Was the last year of car based ambulances, so there was very little ambulance equipment, even in this "combo car" but I found it odd that it had the cot bar, but no jump seats or the flip over floor panels.
Where’s the hearse on the drag strip?
Are we ever getting another episode? It’s been a month now.
So what happened to this build? I'm curious to see the end result!
……….I like the direction you're going with, but…. that steering wheel you guys put in is just….. UGH, NO…. Should've stuck with the stock one or something that doesn't look like it came from a lowrider
Was this the last episode for this build??
When will the Caddy Hearst be back on the show???
Hurry up and get that big beautiful bitch running…people are literally dying to go for a ride!
I named my cat Tommy after Tommy Boshers. The dude sits on top of my car all day.
Where we at on this one? Anticipation has been killing me, been one of my favorite builds! I am really curious to see how the rings and pistons hold up to spray. Good job guys!
Wish I had the means to do this to my 59 Caddy Hearse when I had it. But as far as clever sayings about a Hearse. I haven't read all the comments but when I bought that 59, the old guy I got it from told me , "The last ride is the smoothest".
Keep the seat!
Pliers and screw driver are for gold tooth removal
I find it ironic that Christ and No doubting Thomas are resurrecting a hearse. from the dead..
Please do the 1/4 mile, not the 1/8th mile. Thanks
That steering wheel is simply too tacky. Sorry, but no.
That seat was fine for the drag-strip. Not so much for the curves.
Paint suits must be expensive. That camera man was lucky to get a respirator. Lol.. painting those wheels.
He was in a ball cap and tshirt. 🤮☠⚰
Yea. Paint in skin wont kill you. It was just funny the main dude was in a haz-mat suit.
The pliers are for pulling gold teeth out
Gotta change those seats for laterial support when going straight down the drag strip!
This workshop is just set up to advertise 🤔
To cool guys keepitcoming
there are some nice seats out there, you pick the ugliest seat ever made.only good place for them is in the dumpster.
Those leaf springs look super droopy and soft riding. I might have to keep my eyes open next junkyard trip.
Plasma Cutter > Oxy torch
This episode is so dead now we get to wait 4 weeks for the payoff
