I'm working on a 57 Dodge Fargo to a 2001 Dakota frame. I'm seeing a lot of products I can work into my build. I like the aftermarket ideas on this show.
Why not use the entire section? Looks like a waste of money
En español latino porfa
How does one contact y’all to rebuild my truck
Damn bro u look tired af 😴
For all this welding being done, does anyone think that Flux core would be good enough? Or is MIG welding needed? As I understand, my welder doesn't use gas, so is called wire feed Flux core.. the "gas" is in the wire.
Since MIG stands for "metal inert gas" welding, and I don't technically have gas.
The firewall is more orange than red.
absolutely and completely lost me at patina. Great build though.
They need too wear Dust Mask. !!!
I would have used a lower cup Sprayer when applying the Rust inhibitor underneath Cab.
these two are a great pair on this show! love these guys
I was cringing watching you cut pipe on the band saw while wearing gloves. In the machinist trade, that is a major no no. The glove can get caught and drag your hand in!
Love the C10, bad ass!
Im wondering how he knew i was sitting on the couch. Im closing the drapes
czesc nowe a robota bez precyzji
you guys are idiots…. I Wouldn't let you restore a wagon
Why can't you just weld a lap joint after plug welding the cab supports?
When is this gonna be updated ? I’ve been on the website and everywhere looking for the final vid or any progress??
These guys must be down south….in the northeast we wouldn’t call that truck rusty. I’m used to having nothing to weld to….
with a shop and equipment like that, it makes it easy for anyone to do this work. it's not that easy while lying on your back.
2:45 If I had a big replacement floor pan like that, I'd just replace everything that the new floor pan had to offer. There was quite a bit of that reddish orange stuff under that cab, maybe not all the way through, but once it's there, it doesn't like to go away on it's own. 4:45 The same goes with that cab support, ESPECIALLY with it being a relatively small part, as well as a structural support.
WOW!!!!!! 6:30 The floor pan and cab supports were in much worse condition than the core support. You're replacing the entire core support, but putting band-aids on the floor of the cab.
Lt: now i coulda made a store bought radiator hose work, but I'm trying to sell the shit outta this tubing and bead roller….
Someday I hope they can get the narrator to tone it down a little
I loved that he used the selftapping screws such a handy tip
Don't understand spending all that time and money and then just make it look old again . I will be glad when this derelict and patina fad is over . It's fine if it's legitimate and real and a real solid survivor . But faking it is like new Coke or a kit car on a VW chassis . There's nothing like the real thing . It's just a lame pretender .
Why not show how yo make your own cab supports?? That's what I always do, with thicker metal so that it last longer than the vehicle ever will lol.
Also I wanted to punch that guy when he said "rad" instead of radiator
LT looked like he was high. patina that truck. make it look like a farm truck. keep up the awesome work you guys do.
rust…thought you were gonna say….wife.
LT looks like his face should be on a grasshoppers body
should have epoxy primed the bottom of the cab before rubberizing it.
I would have NEVER ran the exhaust out the side,,,,EVER,,,,,,,AND,,,,,, paint the truck RED,,,,not patina……..
core support dude looks high AF 😂
Patina look is stupid i don’t care what anyone thinks, if I’m already putting that kinda money in to the paint job it won’t be to make it look rusty, i would want it to look brand new
OMG…replace those radiator clamps with some new ones on that new radiator!!!
you think that rust barrier crap actually works. thats pretty funny.
Love it !
God Bless this content
11:34 rather
11:24 that hose isn't even on the rad
Good stuff… There is 100s of ways to do it. I do it one way that works for me and another guy will call it a hack job…
This truck is going to look good when it is done!! Really enjoy your show and thanks for all of the tips that you share with us! I always learn something new!!
For sure I thought he was guna say COPS😂😂
