I’ve been whining about overheating for quite some time now and although I’m going 2JZ I still want to sort it out. In this video I install a Mishimoto X Line 3 Row radiator with their fan/shroud kit.

Man, shame on you. Coolant is really bad for the environment. Nice videos but you need to be more responsible.
I JUST REALISED SOMETHING YOUR CAR IS AN RPS13 BECAUSE ITS AN SR20DET POWERED 240
cool funnel
I have those fans they suck so much so underpowered
Please don’t make anymore videos. Thanks.
Hey Adam do you run your fans off a relay setup? Or off stock wiring with the switch?
You only need to bleed systems where the engine sits higher than the radiator. Ive spaced the radiator to sit above the engine to fill the system then bolted it on place. It works better than the breeders which love to break off.
Why do you top off the overflow tank after bleeding? Coolant only travels into the overflow when it becomes too pressurized in the system and needs somewhere elsewhere to escape to.
I'm experiencing overheating on my SR, but my overflow is empty..
If I install an intercooler on myself would that make me cooler?
you can put your radiator to the trunk because this is working for me a lot better with my 1jz s14.5
You should look at getting a Swirl pot setup. It will help airrate the coolant and cool it down
hey adam!
new to the channel, loving it!
im no expert but maybe use a richer coolant water mixture like 50/50 which is considered ideal. (can come premixed aswell).
ofcourse all this is considering you havnt done it already..
also the dirty intercooler could reduce airflow..
cheers!
Keep your fan setup and try adding a pusher fan in front of the radiator if the intercooler allows.
you have to drain all the coolant from the engine
I want bmx
Those ramps are awesome
"It's an old ISIS radiators" 3:23
IIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
this isn't a BMX channel anymore
I feel like you're front is bent because of the direction you drift in
LOL his car is cooled with Predator blood. Noice.
Doubt you'll see this but you should wrap the drain plug threads in that plumbers silicone tape, my mishimoto leaked from the plug very slowly once at operating temps on my subi. The tape fixed the leak at the plug and the fitting on the top for my rad. Unless i just had a shitty one from the factory.
Do you have an oil cooler? And or oil cooler for the turbo? (with fans)
if your still having issues overheating I'd replace the water pump. when I rebuilt the motor in my supra there was only one blade left and it had the same issues would only overheat sometimes.
nice ending
If you keep having overheating issues try water wetter and water. I had issues with my turbo Ls1 rx7 getting hot but water wetter keeps the temps down
part doesn't work ? dont fix , REPLACE !
Good video. Nice explanation. Loved it.
gkteck clutch fan will fix the overheating
