A million miles is a rare thing to see on one vehicle. But Victor Sheppard and his Toyota Tundra hit the mark. The Louisiana man bought the 2007 Tundra and used it as his daily driver to get from home to his work a little over an hour away. He also took it on work assignments across America, averaging 125,000 miles a year!

There are many 4.7 and 5.7 Tundras with over a million miles. This is not uncommon for Toyota.
My 2008 5.7 tundra is about to hit 300k
Just bought a 2007 tundra v8 5.7 engine @ 200k miles. I was debating if i should get it with that many miles, but it runs great and it doesn't have issues. So hopefully i hit that milion.. 😇🤗
Its true i herd that cars cam hit a million miles
The car manufactures are ok woth you only buying one car in your life time ðŸ¤â€
They did replace the transmission at 750k..
That's Toyota for you!
I hope Toyota doesn't go the other way and make it not to last 1 million miles.
the frame will rot away like all the other Toyota pickups… what good is reliability when your trucks splits in two?
If I remember correctly… He actually went in to get the odometer replaced because it didn't have an extra digit for a million miles. That's when Toyota gave him the new truck. He actually didn't want to get rid of it but hey…. I would deny keys to a 2016 Tundra.
My 1998 Mack has 2,657,743 miles on it
My 2009 Volvo is going on a million
My four brand new 2018 freight liners have just under a hundred miles until I get the d.o.t.s
maintenance is always the key and you keep ur vehicle running as much as possible i have a 98 altima just hit 300k a lot of people dont keep up with their maintenance and sometimes the vehicles barely make it to 200k
You mean toyota bought the truck to "correct" the issue so that a truck will never last 1 million miles again lol
That truck only had to replace 2 timing chains and reverse went out in the trans at 750k. He was a hot shot driver and ran from Louisiana to Texas daily.
My peterbilt just hit a million miles still runs like new!
Just got a Ford Flex was a private work Vehicle since 2012. It has over one million.
its a toyota duh thats why it lasted this long
I got like 568,910 miles and its a 2008 toyota tundra v6 4.0 sr5 double cab and its pretty much good i take it to work and home all the way to alabama and california
What about a High Performance drivetrain?. I have 3 1991 Miata V8 Turn key custom builds I had done on brand new chassis. In 1991 my dad bought a pair of Miatas. a Mariner blue for me and limited edition BRG #309 for him. Chris at Monster Motorsports put 2 GT40 CRATE MOTORS in both but my dad left his motor stock from Ford and I had mine stroked to 347 with an S trim running 16psi and a bunch of work. we still have both of them. and they both look like new but with full coilover suspensions slammed with 15×10 rear 15×8.5 front 205/50F 245/45R my pops has 581,000 miles with obly accessories changed and 2 timing chains from stretching and not counting clutches which is only 4. ..I also have a LS3 Procharged 91 miata.
I bought a 06 Ram 1500 4.7 with 4 miles on it and it had 623,400 self maintained/repaired miles when I sold it. Original drivetrain.
that is nice I see one time a vw whit no check engine light on 😮
I bet with how much he spent on getting his maintenance done at the dealer he could have paid for a couple new tundras. Cool story though.
I got to 1.1 million km, so around 660 000 miles wow that dude got an additional 340000 more than me awesome.
